Hi Sarah, I am pleased with my Sternglas watch but unfortunately the conecting piece on the strap has fallen off when I took the watch off last night. I am not happy with this, would it be possible to exchange the strap for a leather one? Do the leather straps have a conventional connector? Regards, Richard Stutchbury.

I bought a Berlin watch a week or so ago. V impressive and good looking BUT with a major flaw. It is almost impossible to see the silverish hands in anything but strong sunlight against the green background. You have to twist your wrist over and over to see the time. Which is a design fault in a watch...

Watch looks good, but quality control is poor. The big seconds hand doesn't line up to 12h. What's worse is that when I got the watch it was completely misaligned. The chronograph minutes dial and the big seconds hand when reset, moved to completely wrong positions. Thankfully you can mostly fix it by yourself (which makes is even worse that you didn't even bother to check), but as mentioned already, the big seconds hand is not possible to align properly.

Moin Tomás, thanks a lot for your feedback! Please accept my apologies for your disappointment. Indeed, it can happen that the second hand of the tachymeter doesn't align perfectly with the 12 o'clock position. However, this can be easily fixed. Please pull the crown to the last position and then press the top button. This will allow you to adjust the second hand precisely and bring it back to the correct position. On our website, you will find a suitable manual for your tachymeter.

I didn’t receive my item and they asked for this feedback before they had resolved the missing item, but it was probably because of DHL. that it went missing in the first place

I have had a bit of back and forth with Sternglas over the years, and hands down, they have been helpful. Great customer service. I also enjoy my Quartz Naos, which, so far, works fine. (I used to own a discontinued Roncalli, which was a beautiful watch with issues; a pity. I still miss my Roncalli every day.) And the Naos is a nice design, a durable watch (at least it seems like it; I only owned it for a few months). I am on the fence about the quality of the straps, however. The quick-release pins seem to be of shallow quality. Sternglass may be better off revisiting manufacturing or returning to the non-quick-release pins.

I ordered a Naos White and it was shipped very quickly as promised. However, it was stuck in a warehouse in another city for over two weeks with little reason as to why. I suspected customs but was never given an answer by Sternglas. They were very responsive to my email inquiries, but I wish they could have either told me that this kind of thing happens frequently, or given me some time estimate (as I had no idea whether the watch would ever be delivered), or pushed for the watch to clear customs more quickly. The day before I finally got notice it was leaving that warehouse, I had decided I was going to request a refund if it didn’t arrive in the next week. I’m quite pleased with the product itself, just was disappointed by the time it took to deliver (over 3 weeks) and the lack of transparency about they the delivery process was taking so long.

The two watches i bought look very nice, but they are not very substantial. Also, each one occasional has the winding mechanism inadvertantly disengage, changing the time.

It's a shame that our quality couldn't completely convince you, we always do our best here and would like to change this accordingly! Regarding the crown, we may be able to help you with some information: Indeed, there is a slight gap between the crown and the watch case. We decided to have this gap to ensure better handling and tactile feedback. It usually happens when the crown gets caught on something like a pocket or when the sleeve inadvertently pulls the crown out. Although it's a rare occurrence, we are aware of it. Unfortunately, there isn't a quick solution for this issue, and we can't modify the crown. However, we will make adjustments in future models, but this will take some time. We would recommend being a bit more cautious, especially when reaching into your pocket, to ensure that the crown hasn't been pulled out unintentionally. It’s just ok. Inside rim of clock face is white, not black like the pictures on the site. Hard to get second hand to sync up with minute hand. Second hand also jumps every time it passes by one point on the clock. “Made in China” clearly labeled on the clock and mechanism. Overall somewhat disappointed. Not much different, if at all, from all the other overpriced junk clocks online.

The watch has a very antiquey look and is quite nice to look and wear. The dial is actually more brown than green as shown in picture which was a disappointment. Had to return the watch as I wanted the green dial as it looks on the website pics.

Hallo Sternglas Team Leider musste ich feststellen dass die Uhr zu schnell läuft. Wie viel Zeit darf eine Automatikuhr abweichen? Wie viel kostet ein Armband weil das auch nicht so strapazierfähig ist. MfG Michael Schmidt
