Watch is great, but the extra blue strap that I bought wore off the second day I used It. Expected more of the strap, delighted about the watch.

I got the Naos Automatic as a Christmas gift and I tought it was perfect at first, but then I got problems with the strap and the crown. After one month of normal use, I started noticing small cracks in the leather strap where it’s connected to the watch. It got worst and worst and after two months not much was holding it anymore so I reached customer service. They were comprehensive but reluctant to do anything. After further discussion, they eventually accepted to send me a new strap, which I was happy about. I am now extra careful making sure it never comes in contact with water and it seems to hold on. In my opinion the strap material and construction is of good quality but not great. But then another bigger problem came on. I came home one day and the crown was gone. I tried to find it but didn’t know when and where the crown came off. It was really disappointing. I reached custumer service again and I was told to be more careful, and that I was probably not using it properly. After some discussion they accepted to repair the watch. After a couple of weeks, I received my newly repaired watch and I was being extra extra careful when wearing it, particularly attentive so it doesn’t get caught in a sleeve, a bag handle, a door knob, etc. But even then the crown came off a few times, and being so alert, I was able to retrieve it and put it back in its socket. Until I came home one day and the crown was gone. I couldn’t find it anywhere. That’s when I was definitely deceived with my Sternglas watch. I mean, yes it looks fire, yes the saphyre glass doesn’t have the tiniest scratch, but without a functionnal crown it’s useless.

The products are nice, but the marketing is awful. Company is straight up lying about promo codes. They say they expire to entice you to make a purchasing decision faster.

Hello when I sent this below email this morning , I received an email of the confirmation of my order which has nothing to do with my email, it was about a damaged item !below email : Hello , when I received my order (US order E10034712) and first opened the vintage mocha leather strap it was damaged, has a wide significant scratch (see attached photo) the black envelope packaging was not damaged at all. The gray leather strap arrived without issue. Modello Berlin verde con data e cinturino nero. Bello da vedere ma progettato male: non si legge l'ora se non in piena luce perché il grigio scuro delle lancette non fa contrasto col verde del quadrante. Dalla foto non si capisce, ma mentre gli indici sono bianchi e leggibili le lancette sono in metallo grigio. Il datario come in altri Sternglas è troppo piccolo.

Watch looks good But is thicker than I thougt You have to feel and see a watch before buying I never buy a watch online anymore Sternglas must have real shops , so you can see and feel what you buy

The team took 4 days to reply a question about the strap. I asked if I could change my strap before acquiring a new watch. As I had no reply, I ordered the watch and I had to buy a strap from a 3rd-party brand in Amazon. Not using the original Sternglas strap, even if looks expensive, I feel helpless and disappointed.

Correct delivery, nice watch design, good wrist band. However, the Sternglas sapphire glas is very reflective, it does not have an anti-reflective coating. So when you look at your watch you either see yourself or ceiling lights. Disturbing, I don't have that with anybother watch.

Our glass has a double anti-reflective coating, a third time would unfortunately turn the glass light greenish :/. The reflection is stronger on watches with dark dials. The overall fit and finish is very nice however the second hand does not land on the minute markers and is extremely disappointing The watch is being sent back The watch is also made in china and not Germany The advertisement is less than genuine

Moin Robert, Thanks for your feedback! We are really sorry to hear that you're not satisfied with your timepiece. Here a little information: In production, the second hand is pressed onto the second pinion. While it is theoretically possible to align it perfectly with the markings on the dial, it is a highly complex and time-consuming process that is typically reserved for high-end watches with four-digit price tags. Furthermore, since the second hand moves every second, even a tiny discrepancy of a thousandth of a millimeter can cause the hand to deviate by 1 mm after 1,000 seconds. This is unfortunately normal in everyday use, as the second hand can be influenced by environmental factors such as magnets (e.g., in electronic devices) and others. It is not feasible for us to achieve greater precision while staying within our price range. We consulted our watchmaking workshop to inquire about the possibility of adjusting the second hand afterwards. The watchmaker informed us that it is technically possible but not recommended, as it would require disassembling the entire watch. Moreover, due to natural influences, the hand could potentially deviate again after some time, rendering the adjustment temporary. You are welcome to return the watch free of charge. We also offer various quartz models without a second hand, which might suit your preferences. :) Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions. We hope we could provide some clarity! I was very excited to receive this watch. However, sternglass did not offer the option to require a signature for delivery and the package was stolen. I reported the stolen package and never heard from customer service from the mail carrier or sternglass. It seems to me that for such a high value package, the option to require a signature at time of delivery should be available.

The whole online purchasing experience was really bad, not able to change color of strap on the spot, needed to send email to support team to request for that. However, customer need to 'follow' the support team's schedule, else they won't make the necessary changes on time. As a result, customer is forced to accept a watch without the strap change requested. Unless, customer is willing to make all the effort to send the item back again and reorder. In short, the purchasing flow and support team can really use some improvement. At the moment, I wouldn't recommend Sternglas to any of my friends.

Like the watches, not the customer service. I received the wrong watch two weeks ago. Sent a very kind email and called a few days later. Was reprimanded for calling and not waiting on response by email. Still no response on my email though.

I was really excited to buy it as all the reviews praised it highly & price didn’t seem to be too high for Naos (quartz). However when I got it in the hands, I was quite disappointed. The strap is absolutely horrible & incredibly cheap. This is the worst strap I’ve ever felt in my entire life. It was so ugly, old looking & no quality to it at all. However what’s more shocking is didn’t have a seconds hands on the dial. I mean this is really absurd! How am I meant to know if the watch is working or not? Can’t even trust the watch for time as I have no idea if it’s working. There are watches for £30.00 that have seconds hand. This is just basics! So after assessing it further you have to get the automatic version but why? And the automatic version is is more than double the price which is definitely not worth it. A company that’s meant to be for watch enthusiasts it’s absolutely shocking that they do this. Couldn’t return it because I had no time to deal with the hassle. Besides those 2 things the watch is decent, though it does feel a bit small wish it was 40mm dial. So as a result most likely will sell the watch now. As what’s the point in having it if you can’t trust it delivering the one purpose it’s designed to do
