“We found S.W.James through a google search and were impressed by the products on the website and the promise of individual attention. We sent for some swatches and then decided to make the trip from Somerset up to the small showroom to view the sofas and do the important test, sit on them. We were warmly welcomed by Warren who spent time explaining the construction and helping us to choose the right sofa for us. We needed the help as we could have bought them all, they were so beautiful. We chose the Monty as it was a little higher being on castors. We were then shown the beautiful leather and chose the rustic. We decided to buy a footstool too which we hadn’t planned to do. Warren kept us informed during our every stage of the making of the sofa and stool. Our sofa arrived in about 14 weeks (Christmas during this time). We can only say how delighted we are with it. The leather is beautiful, the studding is gorgeous and the seats are squishy soft but supportive. It is a real classic, beautifully made, Chesterfield sofa and the real centrepiece to our lounge. Everybody comments on it and we love it. We had a small problem with one of the stool legs being cracked. I notified Warren and a new one was sent out immediately, no questions asked.
