“I bought these for my daughter's second baby to replace the ones she had for her first wee boy. She is delighted with them but a bit disappointed with her original ones in which the zip broke on each. It was the 'pull' bit which needs to be very robust when trying to hang on to a wriggling baby at the same time. This didn't stop her wanting exact replacements but it seems a small thing to render the bags unusable. So strong zips with really perhaps larger 'pull' bits would help save binning otherwise perfectly good bags and make them more sustainable.”

“Really nice company. I filled in the form for a some advice, and within a few hours they sent me a personalised recommendation for my little one, with a particular fit I had asked for (chunky monkey!) and taking into account drying facilities and other preferences, with lots of other helpful information. When I placed an order it arrived faster than the estimated time and washing care instructions were also emailed over. Really thorough, friendly and helpful service.”

“Bought 2x Merula Menstrual cups from them as a) cheaper than the global online place and b) delivery was 3 days quicker! Cannot fault the entire process. Great stock of the items in colour and size choices. Paid for delivery but I do not mind as is cheaper and quicker than me going out to the shops. And delivery was super quick. Great experience all in all.”

“Excellent place to source really useful info on all things reusable nappy and a great selection of products. I recently purchased the Nox hemp night nappy which is a collaboration between The Nappy Lady and Little Lovebum and it’s such a fantastic nappy for my little heavy wetter. I’ve finally converted my husband that reusables are better overnight and we’ve since purchased more. We also have the fluffy organic Petit Lulu maxi night and this is a great nappy too. We pair them with a motherease air wrap or the petit lulu pull up wrap and have been leak free for over two weeks now!”

“After an initial very confusing period trying to understand the world of reusable nappies generally (my heavily pregnant brain couldn't contain all the different systems and variables!), I've been impressed with the knowledge and helpfulness of everyone I've communicated with at TNL. Managed to get a Bimbles newborn hire kit (with MotherEase wraps) at absolute last minute which arrived very swiftly, and started using it after a few weeks of acclimatising to our new life and little boy. This kit was particularly recommended as we're both tall parents and our son was born 7pds 15oz, not a chub but long! Quickly got used to fitting them (takes a little practice to see when they're too loose etc) and the washing pattern (3x a week using disposables at night), the nappi nippas give a lot of flexibility as to how you fit around the crotch which is good. Impressed at the absorbency - outside can feel completely soaked but fleece inner barely and always soft. If there have been leaks it's because we've not fitted everything together correctly whilst still learning, and the only leaks happening now 1 month on come from disposables. My son is exclusively breastfed so there are some impressive liquid poos but the nappies handle them if we've fastened everything well. Useful to note: good to do an initial fastening and be aware that the cotton likes to relax, after which you can refasten more tightly. This is probably due to being tumble dried. I also purchased the accessories kit including bucket and 2 laundry bags, 1 of the bags was missing but TNL immediately sent me the 2nd without trouble even though I only informed them of this 5 weeks after having received everything. These little things in customer service make a big difference to a new mum, so thank you! I'll certainly be returning to purchase with TNL when our hire period ends, it's a great way to understand the system and get used to reusebles.”

It's wonderful to hear how well you've been getting on with the Bimbles hire kit. I'm glad you love them just as much as I do. I used them on my babies too (now big teenagers) and wanted to create the hire kits so everyone has the chance to economically use tiny newborn nappies. Hi, Sorry to hear you are struggling with your wool wraps i'd like to try and get them working for you and find out what is going wrong. The wool covers are just the water resistant part, is it important to use a reusable nappy that is absorbent enough for how much little one is weeing. I can't see any nappies on your order so if you can let me know what you're using we can ensure it's suitable for night time. If the nappy underneath the wool isn't absorbent enough even a wool wrap which allows for evaporation will leak. Wool covers also need to be lanolised before you use them otherwise they will leak. Did you follow this step before you used them? If so how many times and with which lanolin? Wool is the most breathable fibre but if the nappy underneath is too wet the wool will absorb too much urine and will feel wet as the lanolin is used up by the urine. I've emailed you direct as well so we can help advise you what is going wrong and how to fix it.

“Kajabi nappy didn't leak but was uncomfortable Super undies S4 correct by measurement. Didn't leak first time, but did 2nd and 3rd. Smaller size 3 seemed to have worked so far. Loan service would've been useful to try specialist nappies before you buy.”

“It protects the sheet and the mattress, but it does not absorb the urine and leave your little one sleeping soundly throughout the night if they’ve wet the bed. Even if they wet the bed once, it needs to be changed and washed. So not really worth the big price tag in my eyes. You have to buy at least 2 to not be constantly washing these, which works out pricey. Might as well just get a waterproof materess cover for a fraction of the price”

Hi Sarah, I'm so sorry to hear you are unhappy with your Brolly Sheet and have not got off to a good start with it. The Brolly Sheet has a soft cotton topping and not a staydry layer. This is because the wet feeling feedbacks to the child that they have had an accident to help them wake and learn to night train. While it can be frustrating during night accidents in the long term it will help training. The Brolly Sheet will need changing in the night but as it's not a fitted sheet you can just whip it from under the child and either replace with a second Brolly Sheet. Another method families have used is to also have a fitted waterproof sheet so they can just pull the Brolly Sheet off the pad and then rely on the fitted waterproof sheet as the second layer to prevent you having to put a clean layer on in the night. It is always a good idea to have 2 to help with washing if you're still at the stage of regular accidents. I'll drop you a direct email to see if we can help with your night training.
