Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“I never got to unwrap and see the blanket as it was a gift but I have been assured that it was gorgeous”

“Very happy with the cot blanket. The customer service was great too - after placing the order a member reached out as they had to make a slight adjustment to the design of the blanket. They provided a proof of the revised design which looked better. The quality of the cotton is thick and plush and everything was super simple. Super happy.”

“I bought the Tiles 2 cot sized blanket as a gift for a close friend’s daughter’s 1st Birthday. They loved it and so did we! The quality is amazing and turn around time is quite good for something made to order and that size. Will be ordering again in the future for sure!”

“I recently received a personalized baby knit blanket from Thread The Word, and I am beyond impressed! The softness and high quality of the blanket are immediately noticeable. My daughter absolutely loves it and cuddles with it all the time (so do I!). Needless to say, we're in love! The shipping was crazy fast, especially for a handmade item—Seriously, it arrived in the US from Australia within days! Unreal. This small family business knows how to do it right, they make the perfect, cozy blanket, and it's gentle on sensitive skin, too. *Highly recommend for anyone wanting a special, personalized touch!”

“Still have not received the blanket yet. Tracking info has been sent but UPS tracking has it down that they have not received anything from the company. It’s been months.”

“Purchased a bassinet blanket for my niece as a welcome present. A personalised blanket was a favourite gift I had recieved for my own child and wanted to share the unique gift.
