Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“I was very happy with the blanket. The colour was lovely, the writing was very nice as well. The only thing I was disappointed with, was the back of the blanket. The writing was back to front. Is that normal? It seems a shame that you can't use both sides.”

“Love the quality & style of blanket. However your website says Free Delivery over $50 yet DhL contacted me by email prior to delivery demanding $22.84 duty fees. Still worth it but this should be noted.”

“Love the quality and the finished product. However I must comment on the very strong scent of the blanket, almost chemical / cleaning product like. I’ve washed the blanket twice to try remove the strong scent.”

“Lovely quality and the print is great Plus the blanket is super soft. My only complaint is the extremely strong smell of fabric softener or fragrance that the blanket had. Even after a wash it’s very strong. Not an unpleasant smell but headache inducing.”

“Rather than a 'few weeks' that your email today indicates, it's been two days since receipt of the blanket. It's the third time we've been asked to provide a rating. Although the product is good your constant requests for reassurances is coming across as needy and could impact on future orders.”

“I bought this for a gift. It turned out darling. The recipient said she is going to take the baby’s monthly pictures on it. It was a fun gift to give. My only complaint is that it seemed to take a long time to arrive. I would buy again!”
