Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“Received my wee grandsons beautiful blanket yesterday. Absolutely delighted with the quality. It will make a lovely first Christmas gift. Very quick delivery”

“I ordered a beautiful, single name blanket and it arrived as promised and is very soft! Shipping was fast and easy. Unfortunately, they pre-launder the blanket with a very heavily scented laundry soap. This is not appropriate for infant skin/noses, and took several machine washes to come out.”

“I was so excited to order this blanket for my soon to be born grandson. I ordered on the 7th of Feb. He's being delivered by c-section on the 22nd. I was completely confident it would arrive in 2 weeks time. It was quickly processed and shipped. It's been lingering in Los Angeles according to tracking for a week now. Received an emaill asking how we enjoyed it. Never received it. So disappointed.”

“Ordered Xmas stocking early December and left your factory the next day - great service from TTW :-) but delivery service was terrible the stocking arrived just a few days before xmas - taking over 2 weeks from Reservoir to Pakenham ! :-(”

“Overall the product was beautiful however I sent it as a gift and provided the nominated address and gift message only to have the item still arrive at my address. I then had to pay extra to send it onto the original intended recipient which was disheartening as it was at my expense and arrived after the birth of the expected baby.”
