Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“The named cotton blanket was a gift for my 2 year old grandson. I wasn't expecting a huge response but he grabbed the blanket wrapped it around himself and paraded it around to show everyone. It is beautiful thank you”

“I have purchased a number of blankets both for my daughter and for gifts for friends. The quality of the blankets is second to none and the customer service is even better! I have received my blanket within a couple of days each time I’ve ordered. I also love the clean smell of the blankets, safe to be used straight away on my newborn premmie daughter! I will continue to purchase from Thread The Word as I am yet to find any other company like them. Their rage of colours and designs is huge with so much choice and variety. Thank you for making the incredible blankets you do!”

“My granddaughter is absolutely thrilled with Oliver's blanket. The quality is beautiful, so soft and the scent is so lovely, as is the presentation in a calico bag. She will certainly recommend your blankets to her friends.
