Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

We hope you love your blanket as much as we loved creating it!

“I ordered 3 crib organic cotton baby blankets for newborn baby girls and I am very happy with the purchase. The delivery was delayed as it was the busy Christmas period but once I called them to follow up on my order apparently the blankets were in the final stage and were sent right away. I could not open them to see them as they were gifts but they were so beautifully packaged in tissue paper and then in lovely cloth bags and smelled amazing. I will definitely buy again!”

“The crib blanket that I ordered for my twin great-granddaughters was absolutely beautiful. It was wrapped in tissue paper before being placed into a carry bag then sealed in a tuff postage bag. I was delighted with the quality of the blanket and it was true to the photo that I ordered it from. The blanket was delivered within a week which was a surprise as I live in a rural area and mail usually takes over a week to reach us. The blanket arrived in perfect condition.
