TRIP.com just sent me a threatening… TRIP.com just sent me a threatening email. Here's the background story... I'm an American and I was in Germany looking on my mobile phone for future flights from LAX to Seoul, Incheon in March of 2025. I found a flight (on Trip.com) which seemed to be 638 Euros. The Euro symbol is €. There was no notice of what I would pay in USD so when I went to google to check Euros to USD it was around $675. I thought it was a good deal, since the airline itself they used was putting out deals for $721 at the time. I went through the booking pages and clicked send. Since I used a capital one cc, my card alerts me to any charges that come through. The charged popped up as $830. I immediately was shocked. It was not what I had understood and agreed to. However, when the invoice was sent to me it was in GBP - the symbol for GPB is £ which unfortunately in small print on a mobile site looks very similar to €.€£

Have a great time staying at Pullman Jakarta. Room is clean and location is good. Shopping mall is just across the street. Experienced very good room cleaning service by Jannah. I would recommend anyone to stay in this hotel

All the negative comments are wild. Trip.com was great for a 3rd party booking. You have to pay to sit together but that is every airline now. It's not automatic even if booked at same time. Anyone with a brain would know this. It says it 20 times as you are booking. If you want to be seated together you have to pay and choose seats. We had a great experience round trip. Only thing is if it's an overbooked flight you will be the first one bumped off and not refunded. So I wouldn't use them for very touristy or popular destinations or in peak season. It also notifys you of this risk about 10 times before you agree to buy the tickets. if there are changes to the flight like a delay or a gate change you won't get a notification so make sure you are keeping track. Other than that it was great.

I booked 2 train tickets from Trip.com in China expecting our seats to be together. Instead they booked us in different carriages and different seats for both ways of the travel. Then when you contact customer service they blame China railways for the booking. On top of that they were not able to resolve the issue. Adding to this insult they charged cancellation fees. This is the worst online site. Never use them again. Buyer beware.

My flight to Hanoi with Trip.com booking and Vietravel Airline has been changed from evening time to 00:30am in the morning, which I have successfully accepted and arrived at Da Nang Airport way ahead of time! At the airport, there were NO flight information, NO airline representative at the counter and NO information about CANCELLATION!!! After a few hours of waiting for my flight check-in process, I’ve got kicked out of an airport as well as all other passengers because an airport is closing-security guy said! He also said that all flights have been cancelled. I had ZERO email notifications from Trip.com, ZERO messages and ZERO phone calls! Instead, in my Trip.com app the flight showed scheduled on time! NEVER book ANYTHING with Trip.com because they do NOT communicate with airlines!!! How come you, as the travel agency ,don’t know that the flight has been cancelled???!!!HOW???!!!I have no complaints to operators who answered my call-this is not their fault that Trip.com has the worst communication management!!!

Doesn‘t just let you rebook your own flight and makes you wait days for an offer. The flights already exist why can‘t I just elect them myself?? They didn‘t send me an offer so I ended up not being able to change my flights. Also 0 support when I was obviously being scammed by the airline! I lost a lot of money!

I am writing to express my concern regarding a booking I made through Trip.com for a total of R$1,662.70. Unfortunately, upon arrival at the property, I was informed that they do not accept reservations made through Trip.com, and as a result, I was unable to stay at the property. Despite this, I had already paid for the booking in full, and to my disappointment, I have not received a refund for this payment. This situation has caused significant inconvenience and financial loss. I believe this situation needs to be rectified immediately. I kindly request a full refund of R$1,662.70 as soon as possible. We were recommended to this hotel 景里亿宿 when we booked our trip to Lijiang Yunnan China via Trip.com planner. When we arrived we discovered that the hotel is undergoing renovation works. Neither did Trip.com or the hotel informed us before hand and we were being arranged into a room type which is not suitable for family, ie duplex with a bath tub in the middle of the room plus one needs to sleep on a sofa bed. We were not informed beforehand on the room change as our original booking is a room with 2 double beds. The hotel staff just said that that’s the only available option for us and it’s an “upgrade”! We booked the hotel with breakfast but were told the hotel staff preparing breakfast was on leave and there will be no breakfast! Worst of all, the hot water became intermittent during shower and the next day there were no water supply at all when we return from our day activities. The hotel staff was not apologetic at all amidst all these. We decided to shift to another hotel as we were totally disappointed with the service. Trip.com arranged us to another hotel after we made a serious complaint to them. However, Trip.com does not allow us to write a review on the hotel in their platform which is depriving consumer’s right to share their true experiences and feedbacks. They appears to push the blame to the third party planner engaged under Trip.com though the contract and payment were done with Trip.com. Requested cancelation during a state of emergency because my vehicle was totaled by a hurricane and I was unable to make it. Request was 3 days prior to check in, and was rejected even with proof of claim and total loss letter. Shame on this company for taking advantage of hurricane victims and making a bad situation worse.

I had booked a flexible ticket for Bolton three weeks earlier, Suddenly a hospital appointment arrived for my son and I had to cancel the ticket, But they don't accept the cancellation, even after showing the hospital letter and don't refund my money , I called them but didn’t answer me well Very poor customer service and their work is like stealing, I paid £72 for a ticket Ref: 34891531447

Flight was cancelled without notice. After over 5 long discussions with them, they agreed that the flight was cancelled. Then, they changed their mind and said I have been allocated to another flight and didn't show up. It's a big lie. I had to pay a last minute ticket by myself 5x the original price, in addition to the money they stole from me. It's a disgusting scam company. Avoid at all costs. We booked our flights to China and Vietnam through Trip.com. Unfortunately I had a heart attack in Shanghai and our holiday was cancelled and flight dates changed. We did not have any cancellation or change options with our flights. I found Trip.com fantastic, real people to talk to and did everything they could to get a refund from the airlines. Trip.com were able to get half our money back. Great service very much appreciated during a time of need.

I booked a very reasonably cheap from London to Miami. The flight was cancelled and I was informed I would receive payment refund. Payments to trip.com was paid using PayPal. Checking my bank statement I need this that there was no refund although there was the statement on PayPal app that informed me I had been reimbursed. This was done on the 11th of September 2024. I was told there would be up to two weeks to wait for return of finances. It has been over a month and I have not hand return of payments made!

Hi Guys, my wife passed away and I am grieving, we cancel the tickets after she passed away as when can not travel, we are waiting for refund, I am talking to trip. Com everyday they said airline is going to refund and when I talk to airline they said trip.com will refund the money, trip.com send me misleading email says they already refund the money, I Jen I call they they said airline will refund the money, I am in grieving and need to call them everyday for refund, do you think this is reasonable for me to deal with them like this .

I had a negative experience. The website, as it is structured, offers no protection at all against typing errors or selection mistakes. It proceeds all the way to the end, and in case of errors, canceling a booked flight costs more than the ticket itself. Even the insurance, which cost me 320 euros, was of no use. I had to repurchase the ticket at full price because I had selected the wrong date. The cancellation was made two weeks after the initial purchase and three months before the flight departure. 1200 euros down the drain. It's much better to go through a travel agency—there is absolutely no advantage to booking online. Esperienza negativa, il sito per come é strutturato non protegge assolutamente da errori di battitura o selezioni. Il sito va avanti fino alla fine ed in caso di errori, cancellare un volo prenotato costa piú del biglietto stesso. Addirittura l'assicurazione pagata 320e non é stata utile. Ho dovuto riacquistare il biglietto a prezzo pieno per aver selezionato una data sbagliata. La cancellazione della prenotazione é stata fatta 2 settimana dopo il primo acquisto e 3 mesi prima della partenza del volo. 1200euro buttate nell'immondizia. Molto meglio andare in Agenzia, non c'é nessun vantaggio ad acquistare online. reservation nº 34906224045

Nothing but fraud They take ur money and sell ur tickets to others as soon the price goes up And will tell you after 4 hours sorry no seats are not available then I book the next flight got everything booked then I got email after 5 hours no seat available twice they did this to me during well I m stuck in Orlando with cate 5 Hurricane It’s said they wants to make money and not care for people life Please don’t waste ur money by third party get straight from airline your ticket or hotel

Will never use Trip.com again and tell all my friends and everyone one on social media not to ,I have a family emergency and they won’t give me a credit or let we use the ticket for a later date
