“It is exactly as advertised - a shell. Call me naive, undiscerning, a dreamer but I was hoping for something more. Don't get me wrong - it appears to be a quality pack but without buying the approx. $200 in "optional" add-ons, it is literally just a shell. If that is what you are looking for, great! But, if you are like me, and are looking for a well-made travel backpack, and all of the assumptions that go along with it, then perhaps, just the shell is not the bag for you. It offers limited additional storage other than the in-back laptop storage and zip pocket. Which, if you are going to buy their other accessories, you can upgrade the bag to your liking. If not, you are left with what is essentially a $250 hollow cavern with zippers on both sides. Again, I'm not bashing the quality but perhaps looking for a bit more in terms of value for cost. Otherwise, they should call it as it as. Sell the backpack with all of the upgrades to make it a fully-functional bag and market it at the true price point - $450+.”

“I have tried my Nest on three trips (Paris, Germany, and Chicago) so far and so far it's good but could be better. The color is really nice (I have the Aphemora Brown) and a lot of the finishes are nice Pros: -I love the side lashes that allow you to hang stuff off the sides or strap things like a tripod or monopod easily to the side -The clamshell opening is really handy -Laptop slot in the back is awesome -Hidden pocket for your documents is a plus -Like the internal storage pockets -The camera packing accessory is great for photographers -The stretchy front pouch is pretty handy if you want to slip a hat or book into it Cons: -Water Bottle holder is pretty dinky, its hard to put anything larger than small bottles in it (you better not have a Nalgene or the large swell) - The glasses holder on the front leaves your sunglasses super vulnerable to scratching (have a huge gash on mine now) -If you opt for the large packing cube on the front you cant fill it anywhere near all the way and put it in the slot on the front of the bag which is truly upsetting -The bag can be really hard to close if it's even a little full it's hard to close -Lacks the zippers you can lock -Stains pretty easily Overall I'd say it's a great daypack/weekend backpack if you travel pretty light. It is probably going to be my daily commuter bag/photography backpack.”

“Shoes look excellent and feels excellent. To improve, laces can either be longer so wearer can tie their shoes, or shoe lace ends should be removed because they reminds me of shrek's ears - with the way they stick out (no offense).”

“I purchased a Nest backpack (Navy) and have managed to take it on one trip so far. This backpack is SOOOO close to being perfect--I would give it a 4.6 if I could use that level of precision. The only things holding it back from being a perfect 5-star review is that I wish it had slightly higher quality straps and slightly higher quality zipper. I can't imagine either would add much cost to the product but would really put this over the top. Otherwise, it's super well designed, highly functional, and looks great!”
