“I can only rate2 out of 5 score.
Sadly,it was a less than positive experience as there was a massive delay in delivery and as it was for Christmas that was not helpful! Royal Mail strikes possibly were the cause .I sent 2 emails to customer service regards, non delivery and one facebook message and was ghosted !That would never encourage me to purchase again in line .I reside in Belfast and could have obtained my item from a store or outlet shop of your.
I find it sad noone took time to allay my anxiety about parcel status and if it was on its way. .Improvement in communications definitely much needed . I SENT to correct email address and direct facebook messenger message too!”
“Lovely products but delays in receiving my order meant they didn't arrive in time for Christmas. Nor did they respond to my enquiries about the order. Usually they are very prompt with orders. Not pleased this time.”
“My order dated 23rd November from Ulster Weavers has never arrived.
I phoned the company on 8th December and was informed that it hadn't even left the warehouse only 10 miles away. Still hasn't arrived”
“I have telephoned , emailed and live chatted, to find out where my order is! No call backs or replies yet, have been waiting for my order for ages

“Attention potential customers!
These products are made in China, not Ulster: I was duped into thinking I am supporting local workers. Check your labels.”
“Unfortunately the delivery was far to long for a local business. I ordered on the 27th and didn't arrive til the 10th which was a birthday present so delivery was disappointing. Nice product though.”
Hi Kelly,
Thank you for your email. Your order was picked and packed by our team almost immediately after your order was placed, unfortunately we were let down by Royal Mail strikes. We are very sorry that this has caused you to have a poor experience with our business,
Best wishes,
Ulster Weavers
“I love all the cheerfull Ulster Weavers producs and have four aprons and three sets of oven gloves. After washing they come out beautifully. I am very happy with those, five stars.
Recently I have bought a lot of tea towels. After one washing on 30 Celcius they have already lost a lot of colour. I can give no more than 2,5 stars for those because of that reason. Emails about this with pictures showing a washed and an unwashed teatowel with big difference in colour, have not yet been answered. ( maybe because of busy christmastime?)
Anyway, for this price, and since the lovely patterns are the main reason why I buy Ulster Weavers and not a cheaper product, this is a bit disappointing.”
Hi there! Please email webshop@ulsterweavers.com and a member of our team will arrange for a replacement to be shipped to you as soon as possible. We advise that you carefully read the care instructions and do not wash the tea towels on their own.
Merry Christmas,
Ulster Weavers
“Oh dear-my lovely oven mitts brought disaster! They were very attractive, but after a week or so of using them, I lost one(probably fell into the bin)& then using the remaining one, to remove a small baking tray holding a few French fries, the top of the mitt touched the grill element on the oven ‘roof’ & caught fire! Very frightening….The “rubber” on the mitt stuck to the element, & made it very difficult to remove, whilst it went on burning! Would suggest that these mitts should come warning they are not safe to remove baking trays from an oven-in other words they are NOT ‘oven mitts’. very scary experience & complete waste of money! Disappointing, and I was so thrilled with the look of them!”
“Unfortunately my first contact with Ulster Weavers was not very good.
I ordered a Tea Cosy. I received a Tea Towel instead.
When I informed you, I was asked to return the tea towel and I was told I would be reimbursed for the postage.
I duly found a Post Office and paid
£1.53 postage. I informed you of this.
I then received the Tea Cosy two days later. There was no apology and to date I still have not been reimbursed for the postage.
Not a good first impression.”
“Quality of the tea towel product was of poor quality to previous purchases as was the presentation of the soap products. I have purchased better quality from a charity shop and as a result I did not give the items as gifts as planned.”
“Delivery quick. Poorly made. Two gauntlets were different shape and size to eachother. Within days a hole appeared between the thumb and main part of gauntlet. I burnt my hand in this area lifting a tray out of the oven. This area should be reinforced. I won't buy direct again.”
Hi Kathleen,
Very sorry to see this has occurred in this instance and it's certainly not the quality we would expect from our products. Please get in touch at webshop@ulsterweavers.com and we'll get you a replacement or refund sorted for the damaged goods.
Kind regards,
James
