“1) Ulster weavers doesn’t handle tax issues for deliveries outside the UK. UPS does it it and charges fees for that and you receive no warning. Only a notice to pay. In my case 35€ for a 65€-purchase. This adds up to the 15€ delivery costs.
2) UPS stole the content of my order. Instead of 10 items, I received only 2 cushion fillings (without the covers!) in a torn and reseated poor quality bag. Despite my claims to Ulster weavers and UPS, 2 weeks later I’m still waiting for reimbursement.”
“I ordered 2 pairs of oven gauntlets. When they arrived one pair was fine but the other pair were clearly either badly cut or badly put together because they were uncomfortable and felt tight and small. I was not offered the option of exchange for a different pair. At my own expense I returned the unsatisfactory pair, together with proof of purchase. It took over a month to receive a refund, which did not include the cost of postage. It was obvious that UW did not accept that the gauntlets were faulty and I do not believe that anyone examined them to see. Altogether very disappointing.”
“I was disappointed to be charged £6.99 postage despite my order exceeding £30.00. I did submit a query about this before confirming my order but I didn't receive any response.”
“Lovely items. One of the items delivered was damaged when delivered. I contacted them for a replacement and they never acknowledged or responded to any of my emails. Not able to reach them by phone either. Till date I still have no replacement for the item that was damaged.”

“Easy to order and prompt delivery. Despatched following day and arrrived the day after. The cotton is thick and sturdy and stops me getting wet when washing up! The colours and designs are beautiful and make a mundane item feel a bit special. Love it.”
“Lovely teatowels and oven gloves. My address label was however partially missing, as it seems to have been printed on a removable (removed) sticky tab - ?? The delivery was delayed somewhat because of this, but the postie got it to me eventually, although this must have involved some detective work!
I've yet to wash and dry the 'linens', but past purchases would lead me to think that the colours will hold fast.”
