Buyers from the EU beware that what is mentioned as "taxes" in the checkout, is not: import duties. You have to pay import fees seperately, but this is not mentioned anywhere. Ulster Weavers shows you Euro's and taxes added, but this doesn't mean you're finished paying. I ordered a €9,95 item, on which €14,95 (ouch!) shipping was added, then €4,32 taxes, totalling €24,90, then had to pay an additional €13,78 in import fees when the package arrived in Europe mainland. These €9,95 oven mitts became seriously expensive (€38.68). When buying goods from Amazon in the US or AliExpress from China, import duties are handled at checkout. It was probably a bit too much to expect this from Ulster Weavers as well. Yay Brexit!

The products I ordered were fine-I'd rate them a 5. I found the shipping costs from the UK to the Netherlands more than I wanted to pay, but accepted that. I was then surprised when notified by UPS that I would have to pay an additional charge of 26 euros for delivery. This made the products more expensive than I ever would have paid. After completing the order, I noticed that UW posted a warning that additional charges may apply, depending on the country. This was in very small print and easy to overlook. I assume UW is aware ahead of time in which countries this additional charge will apply, and I think in all fairness that you should warn people ahead of time so they are aware of how much more they'll have to pay before it's too late.

I paid 44€ for 3 double oven gloves. When the package arrived I should have paid 29€ more, which I refused. So I never got my order. I find it unfair and rude. I shall never visit your website again and shall discourage my friends and family to do it.

Ordered short handled bag to be sent short handled option of the same bag. Bag could only seemingly be returned and me pay to make the return, when the item sent was your error as it had a totally different SKU. It seemed I then had to reorder and wasn't sure I get the bag I wanted. Therefore, kept bag and I am giving it to a charity. I am now in the process of looking for a suitable bag elsewhere. One other point the email just started " Dear" no name included and continued "Thank you for reaching out. I am sorry to hear you need to return the item. The returns into can be found here" Felt it was bad manners not to have included a name but as you will see I choose now be "anonymous"

Product was fine it was a reorder of product I already have ; no value was put on the packing invoice coming from UK to Ireland the item was delayed in customs for 3 weeks. When contacted the company the response was abrupt and not helpful.

Bought 2 sets of gauntlets, they look lovely but after one wash and just 3 weeks use they have shrunk considerably and I already have a seem unravelling which is in an awkward place to repair. It’s so easy to pre-wash fabrics in the manufacturing phase, not what I expected from a good brand. I bought them for the length and now they are an inch shorter. Need to lower the prices to match the quality.

All items ordered were enclosed in the package. Unfortunately, one of the mugs was broken ( as shown in the attached photo). This photo illustrates how it was packed, no other packing material was utilized.

You confirmed my order November 5th (Order 23648). UPS delivered the goods today November 28th. 23 days from Irland to Sweden, I am not impressed.

I made 2 orders. One had items missing that I had paid for and I had to contact yourselves about the missing items. It took a while to get the missing items! The other order was returned at my own expense as the items weren't like I expected them to be. I returned them as directed by yourselves. My return then got lost in the post and I had to claim a refund via the post office which took some time. My refund from post office was only received yesterday. I dont think I will be using Ulster Weavers again as I found the whole experience not what I would have expected.

Lovely items. One of the items delivered was damaged when delivered. I contacted them for a replacement and they never acknowledged or responded to any of my emails. Not able to reach them by phone either. Till date I still have no replacement for the item that was damaged.

After my order on Oct 2nd, I wrote 2 emails to Ulster Weavers, both re. the order which arrived on Oct 11th and had one item missing. Today is Oct 27th, and I haven' t heard from Ulster Weavers yet.

I ordered two mugs and when they arrived, one was broken. I emailed customer services and there was a delay of around a week before they came back to me. They did send a replacement out for the broken mug I had received... But the replacement arrived broken as well! I was in contact with them again and a third mug was sent out and was intact. The mugs are great, very pleased with them but was disappointed with the faff of having to ask for replacements.

I was delighted to find cushions with a natural cover, linen, and cushions with a feather/down filling. The cushions arrived safe and well, I'm looking forward to using them. Unfortunately, they have a perfumed smell. I've an intolerance which makes such a smell very uncomfortable for me in different ways, headache, breathing and nausea. I have managed to clear the smell from the linen covers, but still haven't managed to remove it from the cushions. More difficult because of their bulk I presume. As it so happens, I have the cushions outside on garden chairs today. I don't understand why the cushions have to be perfumed. I use down/feather and feather/down duvets and have never had this problem before. Kind regards Anne Wall

Order placed 26/2. Arrived 7/3 two broken. Had to follow up many times and was eventually told on 10/3 I would get 2 replacements. 20/3 no replacements and no further contact from you.very disappointed by this service

The photos looked lovely but the quality was poor compared to Marks and Spencer or John Lewis tea towels. The colours were disappointing and I won't order again.

1* Ordered 2x children’s umbrellas & 2 children’s aprons. Was very disappointed that although fabric very attractive, poor packaging (plastic bag) meant that both umbrellas arrived badly bent. Time sensitive-(Birthday gifts for 4 yr old granddaughters) , so no time to request replacements, or would have submitted formal complaint. Very disappointed
