Communication was prompt and straight forward and everything was well explained before the consultation. The consultation was equally straight forward and the consultant explained everything very well.

I highly recommend the veincentre if you are thinking of having treatment, the initial consultation was explained thoroughly and when I had treatment it was in a very relaxed environment, I am very pleased with the results on my legs .

Attended today for EVLA and sclerotherapy at the Shrewsbury Clinic.My physician was Dr Kakani,the treatment I recieved from initial consultation to the first stage of my treatment was exceptional, the nurse Erin looking after me along with Laura the Patient Advisor/Receptionist was faultless.The team from the onset do their upmost to reassure you and I was confident from initial consultation that I was in safe hands,every stage of procedure is explained and reassuance given.I now wish I had done this years ago,it is early in my treatment journey and look forward to the end result.I have no hesitation in recommending the Veincentre in Shrewsbury.

The Veincentre was very welcoming with friendly, helpful staff. The Consultant explained how the ultrasound worked and was happy to answer my questions. At no point did I feel pressured into making decisions about treatment.

The receptionist Catherine was very friendly; The consultant was obviously busy; our discussion lasted only 20 minutes; may be his fee should correspond to the time spent with the patient.

I found the team very informative and helpful it was good to find out what the issues are and will be booking to have the work advised I’m not financially in a position to book quite yet but I will do in the near future

Everyone was very helpful. The nurse welcomed me into the examination room and went out-of her way to reassure me and check that I was comfortable. Dr. Mark Regi was very professional and explained in detail the type of treatment that would help to improve the condition of my legs.

It was all a good experience from reception to my consultation. The Dr seemed quite professional. But my consultation was on one of the coldest days of the year it wasn't very warm in the building. The specialist told me my legs were fine, but unfortunately with it being cool my veins I am troubled with seemed to be on their best behaviour. But I did feel the Dr could have examined the side of my leg I was most concerned with. He didn't seem at all worried about any of my veins. I felt disappointed that nothing was going to happen to improve my veins that cause trouble in summer.

Good morning,  Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.  I am glad to hear that you had a good experience from reception to your consultation. However, I am sorry to hear that the building wasn’t very warm. I will pass this valuable feedback on to our team to avoid this happening in the future.  In regards to the consultation and scan, please be reassured that our consultants are highly experienced in this process and the examination that takes place is thorough. As this is an open platform I am unable to go into detail about your specific case, however upon review, following the duplex ultrasound scan our consultant confirmed that there are no faulty valves inside your veins, and that your veins are actually healthy. We would never recommend treatment to healthy veins, as performing treatment could actually make these veins look worse which we would absolutely not want to happen. I hope this explanation helps, but I have passed this over to our clinic manager who will be in touch in case you have any further questions or queries you would like answering.  Best wishes, Emily

From the minute I entered the reception I felt at ease from the warm and friendly receptionist.I then went into see the Doctor accompanied by a very friendly nurse who also made me feel relaxed she chattered to me all the way through my consultation she was so nice.The Doctor was very welcoming he made a good examination and explained what he could see with the scan and what he would be able to do if I proceeded with the treatment.A brilliant experience from start to finish.

Was really nervous but the receptionist was really friendly made me and my husband a coffee and kept us informed of how long we would be. I saw the doctor who was friendly and explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. I felt comfortable and not at all pressured to make a decision about having further treatment but I am going to have my veins removed this Saturday
