“We bought a haunch of venison, half of which we made into a venison and pork belly curry. The rest we marinated for 5 days in red wine, star anise, cinnamon and black pepper. We then roasted it thinly sliced it and ate it cold.
The meat was full of strong flavours and was of excellent quality.”
“The venison flavour was unbelievable and on the main very tender, we marinated it in red wine and herbs and it turned out lovely. We did cut the piece in half and froze half as there was only two of us so got another piece for another day.
The only complaint we had was a large piece of grzzel.

“Orders have always arrived on time, they are well packed with icepacks and insulating wool fleece, The meat has arrived in perfect condition, well chilled and ready to go into the freezer or to cook and eat straight away. It is tender and delicious, we have moved largely to venison from beef as we find it nicer, and these days, not really any more expensive and much healthier. Pidgeon breasts are a wonderful very quick and tasty alternative too.”
