Our local butcher closed this year; terrible way our communities are being broken up, but I can get a Sutton Hoo here. Everything is of good quality and packed well. No delivery issues. I gave 4 stars as did find a bit of bone and quite a bit of grissle in the beef mince. Spatchcock partridge was lovely; not too heavy and gamey, important not to overcook to get the tenderest meat.”

I was unsure about it as it was not pickled - the way I usually buy Ox Tongue - but I cooked it for a long time in my slow cooker - and it was dilicious! I ate it with mashed potatoes and the cooking sauce - having been the gravy , is now a treasured stock.”
