Thank you for your review. It is hard to explain why the pheasant roast was tasteless when you found the pheasant breasts delicious - as the roast has the benefit of being stuffed with wild boar sausagemeat which should add extra flavours to the pheasant meat that you liked.

“I would advise that you do not ask people to collect from your site. It looked run down and there was a smell that was not encouraging given you are a meat processor.
The pork was good but difficult to tell whether or not it really was Blythbugh pork as there were no markings on the skin.”
Thanks for the review. Our butchery, which was built to the highest standards as an EU licensed cutting plant (pre-Brexit) is situated inside the shell of an old farm building on our farm. The farm does look run down but the butchery certainly isn't.
I am sorry to hear about the smells. Our bins with waste meat are collected once a week using a certified contractor and I would guess that, with the very hot weather, the bins had not been collected for a week and the wind was blowing any smell your way on the day you collected your meat...
Blythburgh pork or, for that matter any meat brand, do not stamp every meat cut but if you have any concerns you could ask to see our invoices showing that we have bought Blythburgh pork or contact Blythburgh pork direct.
