However, When I came to recycle the packaging there was no indication of how to dispose of/ recycle the contents of the blue frozen packs. It says non-toxic but does that also include the environment or putting into the drains? What is the content of the long puffy packing?”

It is beautifully trimmed, and depending on the order, ready for the oven. Lean and natural, game meat is very good for the body. My pigeon breasts were delicious briefly pan fried in butter and served “blushing”, with a red wine & stock reduction sauce. The mallard was equally good. Keep it up!”

“The meat is good quality. However the delivery service is appalling. I paid extra to have a morning delivery on a specified day. I took time off work to receive it. It never came. It arrived late afternoon the following day. With regards to the extra payment for a morning delivery the company just referred me to a clause in their small print saying that refunds will only be given if 48 hours late. Shocking”
We are sorry about the late delivery. The courier companies have been struggling this week as one of them (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-68238101) has gone bust overloading all the other companies, including our own (DHL and Fedex). Refunds for the value of late deliveries are provided to customers if more than 48 hours late, even though the courier company does not refund us (their customer). You have been refunded for the AM delivery premium but this may take a day or two to hit your bank account.

“As always the meat is great but I wish they would deal with their courier DPD. Advised of a delivery slot and delivery took place 2.5 hours after the end of the delivery slot with no update communication of delay or apology. DPD have never performed. The outer box was completely destroyed but fortunately the meat company internal packing had saved the meat.”
