“This was my second order from the Wild Meat Company - the first was such a success. Having been a vegetarian for well over forty years, my decision to eat meat was not taken lightly. I decises if I am going to eat meat then the meat has to be as ethical as possible. As my garden is a playground for deer , pigeons and rabbits, all of which cause a great deal of damage, I felt that it was no good just getting someone to shoot them, I should be eating them! The estimated number of wild deer in the UK is around 2 million, a population that has grown significantly in recent decades and is now at its highest level in 1,000 years, so that seemed an etical place to start. The meat from the Wild Meat Company is both excellent and expertly presented to the customer. The taste is wonderful (I had forgotten what meat tasted like) and I shall be ordering again.”
