“Fit, finish as expected. Lume is definitely not as depicted in photos. Much less and hardly visible even after leaving in direct sunlight for substantial time. Lume will show well when charged with the included light. Not a practical way to charge the lume though. Seems to keep time well.”

“My new malachite edition triptych is my second Xeric watch and definitely did not disappoint. It's easy to read and the malachite is gorgeous. Although I'm curious why my limited edition of 50 reads 28/500 on it?”

“I really like the "outside of the box" design of Xeric watches and there are some other models that I would love to add to my collection. That being said, my impulse buy of the Halograph II Chrono Murder Hornet was just that, an impulse. I like it, it's beautiful and different, but it's not easy to read (even when you get used to the method). The numbers seem too small for the busy dial and it takes a bit to actually tell what time it is. The yellow and black are striking and the yellow stitching on the leather strap really ties in well. The build quality is top notch and the finish looks great even under a magnifying lens. I'm happy with my purchase mostly because I got it on a Black Friday discount that was pretty substantial. I'm not sure how happy I would be if I paid retail for this piece. I wanted to add a Xeric to my collection for a long time and that discount made it too hard to pass up. If you're thinking about purchasing one, I would recommend it, but take your time to choose the one you really want, and perhaps wait for a good sale.”

“I’d been eyeing this watch for a while and finally with all the holiday discounts I decided to pull the trigger. The most fascinating feature for me was the oxblood color. It looks better in person than online. Beautiful watch, great design, it’s my second one from the Xeric line and I’m very pleased.”

“Love the design, except for the numbers and hands need to be lighter or more luminous, I have a difficult time seeing watch time at night. I would wear it more at night if it was easier to read the time. Again, love design and wear it but it is more of a daytime (well lite) watch verse night time watch. I wear my Omega in the evening it is easier to read”

“The Halograph is a fascinating design, but hard the read - too many busy with minute indicators between the 5 min. Interval numbers. Looking at the enlarged close-up online image is easy, not at all easy to read in real life. Still love the unique design. It’s both fun and annoying.”
