“I really love my desk overall but like many things in life it could be a little better.
This desk has amazing quality, customization, pricing and customer service.
I would definitely consider purchasing another desk from them.
The key highlights I would note are as follows.

- High quality components that feel solid and appear to be made to last.
- Not cheap but reasonable priced quality standing desktop.
- Sturdy Base that is solid.
- Powerful motors that life smoothly.
- Many customizations to choose from regarding size and features.
- Beefy 1 inch desktop thickness.
- Beautiful desk veneer options.
Opportunities for Improvement:
- The programmable height pad is difficult. You have to navigate through it's non-descriptive menus to set the positions as opposed to just a long press like others I have used. Additionally the keys are no super responsive. I often fail to activate the setting I want on the first time which is inconvenient.
- The default feet pads are adjustable to support leveling. However the casters lack the ability to adjust for leveling because the do not have a lock nut but also the overall length of the post is too short.
- The motors are solid but they are a little on the loud side and are slightly audible in tele-meetings.
- Finally it would be a nice improvement to offer choice of right or left hand chase for the desktops.
The Downside:
- L-Shape desktop support.
There is a steal support bracket that is used to connect the two desktop pieces. There is pre-drilled mounting holes for two brackets, one on each side but only send a single bracket. I contacted BTOD about this and they said only one bracket needed but I question the accuracy of this statement. I would say that one bracket is sufficient to hold the pieces together but I would point out that there is a clear 4 mm drop on the side without the bracket. Besides the aesthetics of the uneven worksurface I have concerns about the uneven work surface as well as torsional stress on the screws near this edge that are bearing the weight of the desktop. I have reached out to BTOD Sales to purchase this bracket myself and am awaiting a response.”
“The lead time was pretty long but that seems to be typical of almost company these days. I am happy with the L-shaped vertdesk I ordered, except for two things. The inside corner of the desk where the two pieces meet to form the L-shape creaks loudly with any slight amount of pressure applied. This can be pretty annoying. Lastly, the app to control the desk height is pretty bad. The worst issue of the app is that the desk stops short of the preprogrammed height setting its commanding. I suspect it's either because the motor controller is receiving an infeasible step command from the app (e.g. - the app commands a position that requires an acceleration beyond the limits of the motor controller bandwidth). I found that if I set the four preprogrammed positions in the app to incrementally increased heights, that I can get eventually get it to go between the tallest and shortest preprogrammed heights by commanding sequences of position [2 3 4] for for going from 1 to 4, and [3 2 1] for going from 4 to 1. I hope this gets fixed soon or the hardware preprogrammed controls (assuming it doesn't have the same issue) are given out to those who don't have it, and only the features that work reliably are given to customers in the future. Otherwise, the order went smoothly.
