“Where do I begin with this review? You’re supposed to start with a positive first so… First of all, props to the amazing photographer who made these look like they are worth buying and worth displaying in your home. The second positive is that these items arrived promptly. The positivity stops there.
Construction and appearance:
These arrived looking like a toddler found scraps of wood at a construction site, took them home and had his 2 year old brother hijack tools from daddy’s shed and piece together a “cloche lantern.” After the monstrosity was constructed, they apparently took turns haphazardly “painting” (only the exterior of said lantern) and missing pieces here and there. At least they’ll look like fancy kindling in the fire pit.
Smell:
Y’all- the smell! I would have thought toddlers made these but based on the smell, there’s no way. These have to have been constructed by a lumberjack working a double shift without deodorant in the Texas heat. I had no idea wood could smell like…. That.
So no, save your money and and go to Kirkland’s OR let your kids play with Lincoln logs and design something far better than these.
You and your nose will thank me.”
