“Although I appreciate the IDEA of buying this CORE attachment, it's not that easy to separate the Littman bell from the tubing. I've considered options like cutting the tubing off, but I spent a lot on the stethoscope I use daily, so that's not really an option. Unless they have a better way to do this that I haven't considered, this may not be the best option for some. Try pulling the bell off your stethoscope first before you buy this one.”

“I simply don’t like the Eko core. Yes, it magnifies lungs and heart sounds, but it also amplifies any artifactual noises as well. Sometimes those artifactual noises make it impossible to listen to the sounds you really want to auscultate.”

“I have been using a standard stethoscope for years and could hear but had a hard time differentiating minute sounds and hearing over background noise. I struggled with it for a long time. I recently bought a cardiology stethoscope thinking it would be better (I just started clinical for getting my FNP) and realized I still had difficulty even in a relatively quiet clinic exam room. I bought this and it has made a world of difference in my auscultation skills. I am still experimenting with the app and I think I will like it in time. I will mostly use to catalog various heart and lung sounds for my reference. Overall, awesome product and looking forward to stretching out its capabilities.”
