Product arrived quickly, app easy to download and connect to product. It connected to my hearing aids but I really couldn't hear breath or heart sounds very well through my hearing aids and the visual/recording didn't seem to correlate to my patient's chest movement or pulse. I think this product works well for some people but it didn't meet my needs as well as I hoped so I am returning it

Works beautifully for me so far. Extremely helpful in the field thanks to the noise canceling, especially while in the back of the rig. Would recommend to anyone!

Bought the Eko Core to aid my hearing of some of the "distant" breath sounds. The device works pretty well. My only complaint so far is the amplifing of all the sounds. I would love some noise canceling. In fact, I thought that was built in, if it is there is no help with other noises.

I'm a midwife working in the community and sometimes I have clients who prefer a fetoscope (fetal stethoscope) over the doppler. But hearing baby's heartbeat through a fetoscope is notoriously difficult, especially in earlier months. I got the Eko attachment specifically to use with a fetoscope so I can still offer it to my clients who prefer it, while also ensuring that I'm hearing baby well and able to make more accurate assessments. I can hear baby's hearbeat so much better with the Eko, and that gives me confidence while serving my clients. Providing options to families is what community midwifery is all about, and my Eko allows me to do that without compromising evidence based care and accurate monitoring. I consider this a must-have for all community midwives! Grace Fox, CPM

Connectivity works great but obvious delay while listening to lung sounds. Seeing the chest rise followed by a second and hearing the inspiration in my hearing aids. I'm trying to also adjust that my hearing aids are new to me so it may be their problem.

I work in Respiratory so hearing breath sounds correctly is pivotal to treating my patients. My Eko Core attachment has been a game changer. I can more easily pick up minute lung sounds making the difference between a patient getting and albuterol neb or lasix. The reason it got 4 instead of 5 stars is the power button. Thanks to COVID and keeping things easliy cleanable. I keep my stethoscope in my pocket. (I used to be the cool kid with it around my neck using a stethoscope cover.) Every time I pull my stethoscope out, its already on so I have to charge it more often. The volume is controlled by soft touch buttons, why can't the power button be soft touch as well.

This is my second EKO Core. I replaced the first one because the battery no longer holds a charge and that’s after 4 years of IM / hospitalist duty. It’s paired to a Masters Cardiology with brass finish and I love it. I’ve identified countless murmurs on physical exam and not only that but the murmurs are easily gradable (if anyone cares anymore). The attachment is durable too. It’s taken countless purple / orange / white bottled wipes with no lasting effects. Haven’t used the app but I think it’s worth a look. I’d love an upgraded model with USB-C charge port, wireless charging, built-in filters for cardiac vs pulm auscultation, a way to swap out spent batteries / equip an extended battery pack. If these were added, I’d keep upgrading this model as if it were last season’s iPhone even if battery life wasn’t decreased I don’t really care for a. fib detection at this time, as hearing an irregularly irregular heart beat on physical exam is good enough for me
