I work in EMS. I have had an amazing experience using my echo. Amplification works wonderfully without serious distortion even when running lights and sirens on the freeway. My only suggestion is tracking (like find my phone) cause yeah was stolen right off my stretcher at an ER. Saving up to buy another!

Game changer for me especially being a third year medical student. I was struggling to hear mainly heart sounds with my MDF and Littman, especially with any bit of background noise. I put this amp on my MDF 797, and the difference is like talking to someone under water vs out of the water. Like a normal stethoscope, its best on skin and not clothes, but now I can hear through clothes if need be. I have caught more murmurs for my residents and attendings than I thought existed in the general population. Be cognizant that normal heart sounds may sound abnormal if you crank the volume way up at first just because you are hearing every little bit of the heart sounds that are there including the really quiet parts that you would not otherwise hear on a non-digital stethoscope. The app also works really well with my Samsung S22. I was not sure what to expect as bluetooth devices often can have connectivity issues and what not. But, the app connects within 5 seconds, and the auscultogram has no lag. I also tried using the stethoscope through the app with my bluetooth Bose noise cancelling earbuds and that works flawlessly ass well. Battery lasts at least a month, maybe longer. I have charged it once or twice since I got it 4 months ago, using it probably 10x per day for CV, pulm, GI exam, and both times, it was only down to 40 or 50% - was not actually low on battery.

I like it but it makes the stethoscope a little too long. Took me a little bit to figure out how to hold the tubing tight while bouncing in an ambulance

The amplification and the visual aid on my phone makes it so much easier to hear and detect any issues.

I added the Eko Core to a new Master Cardiology stethoscope and the sound is fantastic. Additionally with the wireless listening option my client can hear their horse's heart murmur clearly, which has helped with client compliance and aftercare for the horse. Great product.

God bless whoever created this technology. You can hear absolutely everything in bumpy ambulance with sirens going
