“As an ER nurse, the environment can be very noisy. The eko attachment enables me to hear blood pressures in critical patients and on crying babies that is essential to providing the correct intervention. Also, I am also able to pick up changing breath sounds early in order to manage a patient's plan of care.”

“If you have a really nice stethoscope and just need a sound booster, this is the only attachment that is available. The sound boost is excellent and the recording app works very well. I like the option of being able to use the stethoscope Without having to engage this attachment if you don't have power to charge it for some reason. Well made item that works well in my practice. I have mine connected to a Littman Master Cardiology.”

“LOVE THIS! Sounds are very clear! Love the app that can record and save your own sounds! It’s very easy to put together and charge! Had a minor issue and talked to the help desk. They got back to me very quickly and resolved the issues he same day! If I could give 50 stars, I would! Absolutely love this product!!”

“I am amazed at what this has brought to the table for health care provides- especially with ones with hearing impairment I love that the eko core attachment let’s me make a stethoscope I already own electronic! You don’t have to go and buy a whole new stethoscope (unless you’re me and didn’t have a regular analog stethoscope) nor do you have to have a limited range on colours! I love that the core allows you to block background noise - which if you have ever needed to do an assessment in emerge or in a ward room... you get it. It also allows for a volume boost that is helpful for people that may have extra tissue around their abdomen or chest and your trying to hearing adventitious sounds. It also allows for a wireless headphone mode... for my this means using my hearing aids! I love that I can stream the sounds CLEARLY to my hearing aids I can hear heart sounds like never before and directly in my hearing aids.”

“I appreciate the ease of of hook up and use it wirelessly through my iPhone, however the sound delay is disconcerting and requires getting used to especially with pulmonary auscultation. This is less overtly annoying with cardiac auscultation. Overall it is still a major improvement over my previous stethoscope for sound and discrimination.”

“I love this device, my only thing is I wish the app didn’t have to be open on my phone in order to use it. I don’t listen to hearts. I listen too dialysis access’ and I have hearing aides so I wish it just Bluetooth straight to my hearing aide instead of having the app on. Can’t really have my phone out while I’m doing access assessment because of infection control and covid. If there is a way to do this please feel free to email me at aweber@herzing.edu”
