“I am a primary care practitioner doing home visits for a number of GP practices. I purchased this as I’d planned to use it and share the recordings with the GP’s. Unfortunately it is not possible to share outside of the Eko platform. I am required to use teams as it has been approved by the NHS for secure communication. It would be great if this could be used with other applications and without needing the GP to sign up to Eko.”

“I had been eyeing the Eko attachment for some time, but didn’t want to splurge. Finally, I decided you know what I deserve this. As soon as I got it I put it on my stethoscope. I absolutely LOVED it. I am still getting over covid and I like to monitor my lung and heart sounds. You can hear everything with this attachment. I have only had issue and that is when I link it to my phone. The rhythm is not clear and there is a lot of artifact. I have not trouble shooted it yet. It may be operator error. As far as sound though, you couldn’t find a better quality product.”

“Like stated in the title, the attachment works good at increasing the auscultation sounds while being light weight. I currently use it in its Bluetooth form due to dealing with many Covid patients. I only gave it 4 stars because of the following reason: - the settings that you set for the attachment (ex volume, etc) in the app resets back to the original factory settings everytime you disconnect from Bluetooth causing you to have to reach for your phone if the app disconnects past the time that it runs in the background (max 30 min) On a side note, you should add Respiratory Therapy as one of the professions that uses this device in the drop down menu when setting up this device”

“I didn’t get a definite answer if this attachment works with Bluetooth hearing aids, but it does! Connect your hearing aids to your phone, then pair the EKO to your phone. Download the Eko app, and turn the speakers to your headphones ( which are now your hearing aids).”
