fluid CityRider Black 10Ah (UL certified) Reviews

I'm not sure if it is due to battery level decreasing or heat in the electric motor, but this scooter can only maintain 18 mph for about 30 min then it goes max 14-16 mph. This is basically a slightly better Xiaomi m365

Very cool looking scooter but unfortunately started to make a clicking noise from the back wheel after the 4th use. They did offer to send a new back wheel for me to replace or refund. At first, I opted for the back wheel replacement as they said it was a easy fix. The wheel came with ZERO instructions. I still attempted to replace by using other online tutorials. Could not get the back wheel off without slamming it to the ground on a wood surface as the tutorial suggested. Fearing I would just damage further I reached again out for a refund instead of the replacement, which they did refund the full amount. Shame, I really was excited about this purchase.

Hi Kevin - Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. In the rare case of problems with the rear wheel, the replacement usually takes care of the issue. Anyway, thank you for the fluid communication during the return process. We hope to have you as our customer in the future to provide you with a better experience.

My title is virtually my review, except to add that my dealings with customer service was reassuring as I purchased my first scooter.

You will not find a scooter of this quality and performance at this price range. The airless honeycomb tires are great and should be used much more; don't have to worry about flat tires, but you get more shock absorption and grip vs full solid tires. The drumb or disc break, in my opinion, is a must and should be on ALL scooters. The range is short, its definitely a scooter where you may want to take a charger with you, but I'm fine with that.

This was my first electric scooter purchase. After researching options for 2-3 weeks, I decided to go with the 2020 CityRider. Very impressed so far! The ride is extremely smooth, the scooter is well-built, and the aesthetics are top notch. Max speed and real-world range are as advertised (I'm 6"3' 185 lbs). This is the perfect choice If you want to casually cruise around the neighborhood or city. Be sure to download to app if you want to adjust settings and see stats.

I love my CityRider! Living in Manhattan, I've been apprehensive about taking public transportation since the shutdown. The CityRider gets me to work and allows me to explore areas that are more off the beaten path. It's my first escooter and it didn't take me long to get used to riding it on the streets. The speeds are as advertised, but it depends on the conditions. It needs flat and smooth surfaces to reach 30 kph. Uphill and bumpy road/sidewalk conditions (and there's a lot of that in New York) will slow it down to 20-25 kph. I've noticed the longer you charge the scooter, it'll consistently run faster and further, so don't unplug right away when it turns green! The speed will reduce when you're left with 1 bar for a while. I've gotten as far as 15.7 miles from one charge. I've had the CityRider for one month now.
