The Fluid freeride Cityrider is a great scooter for the Money! It has decent acceleration and will easily get up to speed even for a 200 lb rider like myself. The headlight and rear brake lights are very bright keeping you visible to moving vehicles. This is very important if you are riding in an urban environment. The brakes are very responsive as well which make this scooter well rounded as far as performance is concerned. Lastly, the appearance of this scooter is my favorite with the wood board. I have yet to see any others that look anything like it and am excited to see new designs in the future.

I purchased this scooter mostly for fun and to be able to ride around with the kids on their scooters. I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality. The wood deck is sturdy and the frame looks to be well built. The scooter is larger than I expected and comfortable for my height (5' 8"). The height is not adjustable so check the dimensions before you go all-in. There is a foot break as well as handle breaks and this scooter is safe to ride around. You can really get going on it once you get past the initial learning curve. I like the inclusion of extras like signal lights and headlights. I didn't think I'd use these much but I tend to find myself using them often once the sun starts to go down. The display is nice and easy to read. If you're planning to use this for short commutes, you'll enjoy the speed and sturdiness of the Cityrider. I find it fairly convenient to fold up and put in the back of the car and just take I out as needed. I've used it when I've parked a bit further away and scootered my way to my destination. Love it - highly recommend it. Especially at this price.

As a college student, I needed something portable enough to carry around campus while also being powerful enough to handle the commute from my apartment to the campus. This scooter is perfect for those needs and I'm very impressed by it. Great value!

To be upfront - this my first scooter. And I'm truly impressed by it. I think it's probably the best looking scooter I've seen -- really well polished with good attention to details. I live in NYC and have to carry it up 3 flights of stairs - so I'm grateful it's pretty light. It's not super powerful but definitely sufficient for flat roads. My initial thoughts were that it was slow at 28km/h but after couple weeks I think this speed is perfect (from safety perspective). Also at first the auto cruise control was confusing and scary, but it took a few days to get used to and now I love it. One thing that's unique is batter remaining level indicator. As I go slightly uphill I see the batter drops very rapidly to like 2/5 (that at first scared me!) but then going flat or downhill the indicator goes back to 4 or 5. I thought it was confusing but then I realized it's just not what I was used to and this way it's probably more accurate representation of what to expect. So all in all I'm very happy with the design, performance and build quality and therefore would recommend this scooter for flat city commuters!

Overall, I enjoy the scooter. I use it to commute 4.8 miles every day. I think it is decent and hope to get a lot of miles out of it over the lifetime of the scooter. +Durable +Convenient +Cruise Control Saves your thumb +no mini-tubes to change with flat tires -Feels a bit underpowered on acceleration -Underwhelming range. (Mine barely has any juice left after 4.8 miles)

The cruise control seemed like an unnecessary feature at first but I came to appreciate being able to relax my thumb on long rides. Fits comfortably in the back seat whether we take my CR-V or the Model 3!

I had a GoTrax GXL v2 before I got this. The GoTrax had a ton of problems and no longer works. The CITYRIDER seems better in a number of different ways: ‚úÖThe latch that keeps the scooter folded is more reliable. The scooter doesn't collapse randomly from carrying it. ‚úÖThe red light in the back stays lit while the headlights are on. ‚úÖLess noise when operating. ‚úÖSmoother ride even though it has solid tires. I got a flat on the GXL so I like that this scooter can't get a flat. ‚úÖThe balance point when carrying it around is great. ‚úÖIt feels high-quality and solid. A few things I wish were improved: ‚ùåThe range is less than the GXL. 6 miles at a 2nd gear with a full-charge. ‚ùåThe top speed is faster but the acceleration is slower. It's more like Bowser than Yoshi if you're familiar with Mario Kart. ‚ùåI wish there were a bell or a place to put a bike bell. Overall it's a great scooter. Highly recommended for people who don't need tremendous range and a portable solution.
