“I had been struggling with patellar tendinitis since 2018, mostly from running and playing football. The doctor recommended resting for a few months and doing physiotherapy to strengthen the muscles around my knee. I gave physiotherapy a shot and even tried going to the gym for a few months, but I didn’t see the kind of functional improvement that would let me return to playing football.
While researching online, I came across GMB’s articles on joint and knee health. Their content really resonated with me, and the programs seemed legitimate, even from here in India :). The pricing was comparable to a one-year gym subscription, and at that point, I was frustrated enough with other options to take a chance. I had a few questions, and GMB’s support team was incredibly helpful and responsive, which gave me the confidence to go ahead and purchase the program.
Looking back, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Not only did it help me recover from my knee issues, but it also improved my overall fitness. What I truly appreciate about the GMB approach is how it changes your mindset toward exercise. It teaches you to be patient with your body, to value consistency over intensity, and to be okay with doing what you can today and trying again tomorrow. The psychological and mindful shift has been truly valuable, and I've found myself applying this mindset in other areas of my life as well.”
“Integral Strength (IS) is a comprehensive bodyweight exercise program aimed at promoting fitness in terms of strength, mobility, balance and body coordination. For those who have been taught that bodyweight training does not produce results equivalent to weight training, I assure you that IS can be as challenging as you desire. The only equipment required is a high bar or rings, (preferably interlocking) mats, and paralletes. GMB staff can help you get the right equipment. The IS program contains helpful instructional videos to adapt each exercise to your needs. If your goal is body sculpting or huge biceps, this is probably not the best program for you. But if you want to be functionally fit and feel empowered in ways you might not even have ever imagined, this program is for you. If you are a Senior (I am 73), IS is especially for you. IS and other GMB programs have rejuvenated the fitness journey I began 33 years ago. It has taken me to delightful places I never thought of going. A great feature is that you can adapt IS to your level no matter your current state of fitness. And, there is enough diverse and great content to keep you engaged for years and years. Give it a try!”
“I finished GMB's foundational program, Elements, and it's an understatement to say that I was thrilled with the results. My next goal was completing Integral Strength. I'm approximately half way through the bodyweight version of the IS program (there are three tracks--bodyweight, bar, and rings) and am loving it. I love that I am challenged by it, but I'm never exhausted or wrecked. And because of that I'm making real progress. Also, all of IS (and Elements) translates so effortlessly into everyday life. I live in NYC which involves a lot of moving, schlepping, and twisting around tiny spaces in a tiny apartment. I can handle this because of GMB. I didn't have that level of confidence before starting GMB, even though I had done a number of other fitness programs. GMB is the secret sauce that pulls everything together and reminds you of what you are capable of doing with your body. It's more than you can imagine. Because there is a bodyweight version of all the work it is also portable, which is great as I often travel back and forth to Wisconsin. I fall seamlessly into the routine no matter where I am. The GMB trainers offer a starting point for everyone, regardless of ability or previous experience. This program is genuinely accessible. They aren't just blowing smoke when they say that. I've been telling everyone I know about GMB and encouraging them to give it a try. Honestly, I've enjoyed a number of fitness "modalities" and I've enjoyed that all, but nothing beats GMB for solid and scalable overall fitness. It's the best bang for your buck out there.”
“I'm halfway through IS, I thought it would have been difficult but the incremental progression makes it more tailored to every user and more accessibile. You can adjust every single move to your current ability following the advices given in the videos. Definitely recommended.”
“Integral Strength is my second GMB program (the other being Elements). I like the quality of the instruction and the wide variety of mobility and strength exercises. Since there is great variety, this program never gets boring. The focus is on precision of movement which allows me to perform all the exercises pain-free so I can stay consistent. I have noticed gains in my chin-up strength! This program works!”
“I'm about halfway through Integral Strength program. I've been through Elements and a few other courses. I can do pull-ups, pushups, handstand pushups, and more that I learned over the years doing P90X and Crossfit. In IS though, I slow down and really focus on the movements and am gaining better form and activating additional muscles. I like the timed movements instead of doing a bunch of reps. I find this part very relaxing. My age is 65 so IS and the other courses help with recovery after highly rigorous workouts like at Crossfit. Concentrate and relax when doing the GMB courses. Watch the tutorial vids often. There are nuances that you pickup that improve form.”
“I love this program. It is helping me gain strength and mobility that translates easily into my life. I have done the bodyweight version and I'm now working through the bar version. It is challenging and I enjoy it. This makes it easier for me to stay motivated and stick with it. Being able to choose the length of the session helps depending on how busy I am with work and family. I can do this outside in the right weather; bonus! They have worked out the periodicity so progression happens if I am consistent.”
“Thanks to GMB’s Integral Strength program, I don’t just feel stronger—I am stronger, in the ways that matter to me.
My 3.5 yr old son is my world. I’m 49 and can press his over 40-pound giggly, squirmy body over my head and onto my shoulders with confidence and control. I can sweep him up in my arms in a flash with a 20-pound stroller slung over one shoulder and a backpack full of groceries on my back to hustle two blocks to catch a bus without breaking stride. I can confidently walk up 100 + stairs with him in one arm and his tricycle in the other while he prods the inside of my ears with his pudgy little fingers, pulls my beard in the direction he wants me to look, and tells me how much he loves me.
I wanted a program that would adapt to my needs and help me build the kind of strength that lets me handle the real world challenges my life (and my fabulous energetic son) throw my way. That’s Integral Strength’s promise and it delivers. No gym, no fluff—just a smart, structured program that delivers a body you’ll feel great in.
If you want to be the kind of strong that matters—not just for yourself, but for the people who rely on you—Integral Strength is the real deal.”
