“I’m approaching 70 and could feel and see that my fitness program wasn’t giving me what I needed to prevent loss of strength, stamina and mobility. GMB was recommended by the Foot Collective to use in addition to the Sole Mate. I started with Elements and later added in Integral strength. I’m feeling much stronger and have more stamina. I look forward to it every day.”
“I have been working out, not as consistently as I would have liked, for about 9 years. I have been doing both bodyweight and weightlifting.
2 years ago, I torn my meniscus while doing some judo. After some rehab, I still felt that my knee was not as solid as I needed it to be. That is why I tried IS.
I am halfway through the program now and I am glad I tried it. I definitely feel stronger especially in my legs and my core. I feel also more solid in my knees. Also, I love the stretching moves at the beginning and the end and I actually feel more mobile for certain of theses moves. But the number one reason I love it so much is that I just have fun doing it. Working out is no longer boring or a chore. I just have to play the program on my phone, follow the instruction and enjoy it.
I already know that I want to do multiple rounds of this program. It is just such a fun way to work out.”
“A great program! Highly recommend. I feel stronger and more mobile by the day by following the exercises in Integral Strength. I practice aikido and IS has had an big impact on my flexibility and form. Of all the programs GMB offers, this one is my favorite.”
“I own several of your programs and have for many years, and continue to enjoy them!
Here's the catch though . . . in a world of competing online training videos for every category of fitness imaginable, something "unique" has to be incorporated into the programming to make the client want to keep coming back, and possibly purchase more of the progams that you offer. So here are my thoughts . . .
Here's just one of several concepts I'd like to see GMB offer in order to raise the bar amongst competing training videos:
If a client identifies the same "challenging" exercise several times (or constantly) throughout the course, then there ought to be an "intervention" whereupon the program notes this and offers a supplemental exercise program specifically aimed at the problematic exercise. It should be offered at a beginners level, and advance from there. Perhaps this concept is food for thought for the entire exercise program, that is to say, offer it at a beginners level or intermediate level or advanced. This system would offer something no one else does and would endear the client to the program. The cllent can see and feel themself becoming strnger and more mobile, and as a result, want to upgrade their skills by registering with the next higher level program, and/or perhaps purchasing a new-to-them progrm altogether.
Just sayin. I'll shut my yap . . . . too much babbling from this old man!!!!!!”
“I found Elements & Mobility to be very enjoyabe with their structure and set up, as such IS was purchased with an expection of it being simlar (this was a bias on my end, so that's on me). The BW Integral Strength has been a bit less fun on avergae due to the short circuit style set up because of having to check back to see what's up next (sometimes there's media issues).
The overall program for BW is fair although on a personal level the short intervals just aren't favourable, hence why the longer style of elements/mobility sat well. One BW is finished the Bar program will be followed to see how that feels.
If people like circuits then IS is a great choice.”
Hey, thanks for the review.
Just to be clear on why we structured this program differently than Elements, it's not a matter of "liking" circuits or not - they are simply the correct protocol for building the strength endurance those sessions are aimed at. In Elements, we're working on motor patterning much more, so we use a different setup.
Though you're not finding IS as much fun, I'm glad to see it's working well enough for you that you want to repeat the program using the next track in bar :)
“I've tried a number of online training programs, but none of them catched my attention long enough. In short, it's always the same problem: I get bored. Same at the gym. I get so bored, my soul hurts!!! Then the Element program caught my eye, and I decided to give it a try. I completed the program, much to my surprise! Trainings are playful; I'm having fun all the way. Then I started Element again because I was feeling that I could still get more out of the program. But my general strenght was pulling me back : my strengh level was not in sync with my flexibility and my agility. So I started Integral Strenght. I'm halway through and I'm still highly motivated. Thank you, thank you, thank you soooo much!!!”
“A great training methodology. Very enjoyable. Not many systems where you finish training and have actually enjoyed it and feel better for having done it. This is definitely such a program.”
“The program has helped me focus on core strength. I’ve improved my core strength and stamina so that when I go back to the movements from the Elements, the Elements movements are much smoother, and I can do the more advanced versions. Overall very good core strength workouts”
