This was a great program for me to work out the entire body in sequences

Alot of the movements in Resilience are in other programs. The difference is the duration of each movement. 5 - 6 minutes of seal walks can be grueling, but the benefits of the workouts when you are done are worth it. My joints and muscles in the areas worked out feel loose and strong after completing a Resilience workout. I also know I'm building mental toughness by working through the discomfort for an extended period of time and knowing I was able to complete something challenging and sometimes dificult.

Why go through the Resilience program? Because it works, that’s it. I had just finished the apprenticeship program, so I wanted a program focusing on continuing building strength and mobility in ankles, wrists, shoulders, core, back and legs, and the possibility to go slow with the moves t oresist injuries and setbacks. Moving slowly allowed me to keep focus in each and every move, feel how my body reacted, and it made it much more challenging, ex Resilience Iguana Walk:)This is an underestimated exercise, and I could have made it even more slow. I like Resilience is a program that challenged me continuously with new moves, such as Resilience Butterfly shrugs, Toe Squat, Resilience Plank Hollow Body shrugs. Besides it is fun too, ex is Seal Walk, it might seem a little crazy, but doing it right it really makes my wrists, shoulders and core work. Overall, it is a great program, and I was certainly challenged in the good way, but in the end I felt I had more strength in my ankles, wrists and shoulders because I was able to practice the moves with more control and for a longer time. It is a great program to go through before ex working on rings or another strength program.

Believe every word of the GMB description of potential outcomes of this Resilience programme. I have ao far cometed one run through 2/3 times a week (alongside elements etc..) and was part way through the second. I have only paused it because I am 5 sessions into Integral Strength and waiting to assess if it is an option to weave resilience back into the week. Personally after a couple of injuries and having nearly two years sitting on the couch I had almost given up on ever getting back to my hobby, or even just day to day activities. Elements was a start, alongside their other basic programmes and little mini courses. Resilience fills in the gaps that our creative bodies find ways of adaptively avoiding therefore leaving us with ‘built in limitations that also leave us vulnerable to repeated injury. I personally really need that a high level of proprioception and the trained in multitude of variability and muscular patterning for my hobby activity. I am so grateful to GMB as I can now see the way ahead and I have already gone from ‘needing everything to be controlled and perfect’ to a fledgling confidence that my body can not only perform as before but actually way better. It is always going to have a place in my weekly training ongoing.

I'm currently rotating between Resilience, Recovery and Mobility depending on what else has gone on that week (after weights do Recovery etc). Resilience features a few familiar moves but also new ones that don't appear elsewhere. Tough things like "plank hollow body shrugs". I always feel good afterwards. The only thing is, for longer sessions it would be better to add another move rather than extending the duration.

Challenging exercises that really do help you to feel better and stronger in your body. Great workout for the core.

I started resilience several weeks ago and really enjoy it. The exercises are challenging, but can be modified to for your capacity. I am 71 y/o and need to modify most exercises, but I feel great afterward. I injured my knee last year and have to back off on some of the exercises, but still get a good challenging workout. I'm very satisfied with this program.

After working to acquire better pain-free movement, it's a pleasure to keep learning new combinations and ways to gain from practicing this artful way of training. Definitely one to do after at least one round of Elements (or more). The program really is about the title - keep yourself resiliant to moblity loss doing the things you love... invest in yourself - do Resilience!
