“This model is a work of art. Looks and flies great. A LOT of wires in there, so have a plan when you put it together. Had a to use some extensions on the wires coming out of the center nacelle, just to make it easier to work with. I also made a custom stand to hold it, since it's not a conventional layoutHighly recommend this plane. Enjoy!”

“Really love the appearance of this plane.There are some rough areas in the glue joints and decal applications, but they are minor and do not detract from the overall beauty of this model. The assembly was pretty easy, except for a couple of missing screws. I did purchase the landing gear upgrade, and installing that was the hardest part of the assembly (include installation instructions, please)Now all I need is to develop enough piloting skill to fly it without crashing!”

“An update from my April review. Three good flights, on fourth flight front gear did not come down. Got home and checked landing gear, sometimes one, sometimes two, sometimes none. The more I tried to worst it got. Checked all the plugs, rebound the radio, tried another receiver nothing was working. Ordered a new blue junction box. Two gears, then one, and now none. It’s a very expensive wall hanger.”

“The kit came well packaged and no damage. Assembling was pretty straightforward, a little confusing with some of the screws. Getting all the servo wires in place was easy. But the little blue junction box took some thinking. I have two flights on it and everything works great, it flies as good as it looks.”
“This is my second P-38 and I love the way this plane flies. Not super fast, but not slow either. It is simply a great scale flying warbird. The only real down side is the wiring. No matter how I try, I still wind up with a "rats nest". Personally, I do not care for the pre-applied graphics, but that's just me.”
