I wanted a thermostat so I could set my furnace and see my temperature remotely. When it gets cold, the thermostat doesn't show the actual temperature. It also won't let me set it to 42°F or what the temperature is if it goes below 50°F.

First let me say that after reading some of these reviews, I would guess most are 'consumers' who bought this control at Home Depot etc. and installed and 'configured' themselves. This or any sophisticated control requires a trained technician to set it up correctly as the terminology in the instructions is quite definitive and comprehensive, depending on the 'system' you have and how you want it to operate for you.

Best thermostat I’ve ever had. Works great with the app, giving me full control from anywhere.

Downloaded the phone app for iPhone. The Honeywell Home app does not show Auto when in mode. Shows only Heat, Emergency Heat, and Cool. Why? Lost power to premises and it took 4 days for the wall thermostat to connect to the iPhone Honeywell Home App. Not at location. Managing remotely. So not able to check but can this unit use batteries? So many questions not covered in the manual... Also, the number 1-800-633-3991 has NOT WORKED since March 15, 2022. When dialed, I get the message NO ROUTE FOUND... Thank You.

Been using two T6 units for five years. They controlled two AC units without issues. Easy to use and very handy.

Not sure about all the bad reviews. Mine works as intended. Had a new gas heater installed almost 2 years ago by a professional. I did the Wi-Fi setup myself, and it wasn't overly complex. Works as long as the Wi-Fi in my house is operational. I’m not a tech genius, so I have to wonder about the negative reviews.
