“Awesome product, definitely worth the money although I do have a complaint. It's hard to draw the sword after its fully sheated but I think that will go away with time (its already a bit better). Thats why only 4 stars.”

“After selecting many of the premium options for the custom katana, I was disappointed when it arrived. The blade was warped slightly. it didn’t seem to have the extra polish I ordered and wasn’t sharp. The hilt doesn’t have the silk wrap I ordered. And a few other things as well. But it is still a sword so that cool.”

Once we review everything, we will be happy to arrange a replacement. We normally send photos for approval before shipping. However, due to a significant backlog during the Christmas season, we temporarily paused taking photos so we could fulfill all orders as quickly as possible and avoid excessive delays. “Don’t get me wrong, this is a very nice katana with quality workmanship, but the handle is 16” long when I specified on my order an 11” katana handle. I double checked my order confirmation to make sure I didn’t mess up. I have ordered several katanas from Gannon forge and to see they would make this mistake is very disappointing. I will have this katana remade by another forge which I should not have to do. When you order a custom made item the attention to detail as simple as a handle length should not be overlooked.”

Hello Mike, Thanks for reaching out to us. Could you please contact our customer service team? Almost all of the handles in our inventory are 11", and only about one in 100 swords is made with a 16" handle. If you could send us a few photos, we’d really appreciate it — that will help us take a closer look. Of course, if this is the case, we’ll gladly send you a replacement. That said, this would be a very unusual situation, as a handle that large would normally be caught during quality inspection since it’s quite noticeable. Still, we want to make sure everything is right for you and will do our best to resolve this quickly. Looking forward to your reply!

“My katana that custom made is really nice quality I got a 31in blade with an 11in handle and the gard and decor both have fish because i am a fisherman and I love fish anyway it is a good sword”

“To start, the sword is AMAZING looking, the costumization process was easy and the service of the company tracking the parcel during the entire transportation shows great customer support. They even gave me a certificate showing details like metals, lenght, weight and even the swordsmith. If i HAVE to be nitpicky i would surgest that visualisation of the customization during the order process would be handy. All in all great service, amazing custom piece. 10/10 would recommend”
