The people here seemed friendly so I am sorry to leave a poor review but the site was simply not as advertised. For example, we were promised a wood burning camp stove as shown in the picture. This stove is not in the tent. What we got was a tiny propane heater with one half empty can of propane which lasted one hour. Given that it was in the 30s at night this was problematic. When I called in the morning someone did bring more propane in about 45 minutes. There were also instructions from Tentrr saying that we would get clean waste toilet liners designed to minimize human smells. These were also missing but the camp manager explained that the “green bags” were for bio waste. These were regular flimsy compost bags which were not actually appropriate to line the camp toilet. I also have to mention that the mattress, while comfortable, was absolutely filthy. Covered with large stains. I understand mattresses are expensive to replace, but you could use mattress covers and wash between guests. The site is very cool and private but I just feel people should know it’s not exactly as advertised.

This was truly an amazing experience that I would love to revisit multiple times. The drive is calm, the area is secluded, and the nature/scenery here is exactly what you'd expect. The view was absolutely incredible, the tent was heavy duty with plenty of amenities included. The property was mesmerizing, and the groundskeeper (Shawn J.) was an incredible one-of-a-kind man who personally gave us all the history of the property, showed us some very interesting things, and already seemed like a friend right off the bat. The stargazing at night was BREATHTAKING. Absolutely 0% light pollution made for a visible milky way. I could go on and on, but I would say just see it for yourself. Even 1 night is worth it. We WILL be back! :) *Check out our photos on Instagram @sleepwalkerphoto & @ludic_wandering_photography )

For the money I expected the site to be in better condition. However, I would stay again. The view was just as described.

This review is for Mountain view location. Tent was perfect and clean. Location is Easy to find. Easy to park right next to the tent. Me and my wife was there during the storm and the tent was standing still and does not leak. The view was exactly as picture. I like this location better than the rest since it is more open and bright. The only downside is the carpet flooring was little bit smell and wet. you could explore the abandoned zoo. Also, the fact that the tent was located not far from the main hotel/building but still remain quite secluded, it helps to know that you could go to the real toilet at all times. Coffee here is great too, did i mentioned that it was on the house? Staff was very friendly. Offered us a free fresh egg. overall we had a great experience.

It was great to be able to go camping and not have to worry if it rained your tent getting soaked being you were in a canvas tent and raised off the ground. Also was a great experience to be able to walk through the abandoned zoo. But the site was overgrown with grass almost knee high (being tick season this shouldn't be), paid $25 for wood that was wet and a quarter of the wood was half burnt pieces like from previous campers. If we hadn't brought a hatchet and hammer we would have had trouble getting a fire. Texted the camp keeper 4 times and only got a short response once. For hotel prices I would expect hotel service and it was no where near that. And I see now the price is at least $50 more a night than I paid. I've camped places for $20 a night and the site was much more maintained. Would I go back? I really don't think I would. It is beautiful but not for that money

*** The tent and platform were great. The one problem we had was the constant shooting or blasting that went on the entire time we were there. Not knowing the area, I don't know if it was a gun range or construction. Also, it would be important to let renters know that the drive into the site is dirt, mud and, in our case, lots of deep puddles. We were very concerned that the car we had would not make it through the deep mud. We did see an alternate tractor path to the farm's parking lot once we got into the site so we used that when we left. Although we didn't realize that we would be that close to the parking lot, it was very convenient to be that close. We rode our bikes there and into the farm and had lots of fun. Feeding the goats and chickens was a huge plus for the 6 year old. The gentleman that helped with the goats was extremely kind and courteous to the 6 year old. Lastly, the price of the stay is quite high for what is there. We are avid campers, however, for that price, we will probably not be returning. Thanks for the stay.

Loved it. All 6 of us enjoyed the experience. Very unique and will definitely be back. Great and sad to see the place at its current state. Wonderful childhood memories there. Would love to see it return to its glory. Camp sites are well done.
