“I love Hatch Chile Company, they have always provided the freshest, tastiest chilies to me in Washington, DC. This kind of chile is next to impossible to find east of the Mississippi, but I always love coming home to see that box from New Mexico sitting on my porch each fall. The next day, my house is filled with the wonderful aroma of roasting chilies in my oven, no big rotating drums roasting chilies here! I look forward to each year's crop, this year is as great as all other years for quality. I also love how Hatch Chile delivers in a timely manner, they always arrive with that just picked smell and snap.”

“I love Sandias for the deep flavor and heat. They are less meaty than Big Jims but deliver on flavor. The Hatch Chili store has the most reasonable prices for fresh shipped chilis. I have ordered from them for years, first when I lived in California and now is Colorado. The quality is great and no matter where they ship, the chilis arrive fresh.”

“Over 1/3 of the order was spoiled and tossed out. Many of the remaining chile has cut marks or had cut off/missing tips. Was not pleased.”

“The chiles were very aromatic !! However there were several chiles at the bottom of the bag that were rotten and unusable at least 10% were discarded!!”

“These peppers are delicious, meaty and hot. Our favorite dishes are chili stew, rellenos and con queso caserole. We ordered 2nd day delivery, and a few peppers were spoiled, probably owing to the very hot weather everywhere in the West this year. Last year, none were spoiled. We love them!”

“Website was easy to navigate and was excited to be able to pre-order our hatch chilis. When it comes to southwest cuisine, there is no substitute for Hatch chilis.”

“We ordered 10 pounds of Sandia this year and 10 pounds of Big Jim. The Sandias arrived in perfect condition (no damaged chiles in the box) and were quite meaty and peeled easily. We've ordered Sandias for several years now and we've been pleased every year. We put 1 cup of peeled chiles in seal a meal bags and freeze them, so we have them all year.”
