“We received a 25 pound box of fresh hot Sandia chile. Perfect condition. Took about 48 hours to arrive in Juneau AK from time it shipped. We roasted it over charcoal and alder, packed it 4-5 pods per Ziploc sandwich bag - mostly 4 pods. We do not peel it until we use it. Ended up with 44 bags. Kept 2 bags aside and put the other 42 Ziploc bags at 7 to a gallon freezer bag and dropped in the freezer. That is 1/2 year supply. Got another 25 pounds coming next week. We love this chile. Sandia is consistently hot - not real hot - with an excellent taste. The Big Jim are medium with some hot ones occasionally. We have come to prefer Sandia.”

“I buy and roast my own fresh chiles every year. This was my second year buying from the Hatch Chile Store. The service was great and the chiles taste fantastic. I purchase twenty-five pounds and roasted them on my outdoor grill. We froze most of them for later use. I live in Kansas and would do this again in a heartbeat. Larry”
