“Because I'm in hospital and will before another 4 weeks, I had my life partner bag them all up in freezer bags. We ordered the 25lb box, my partner says they look so good. I do hope they will be fine frozen before roasting”

“Love the chili and the customer service. The chili was very good tasting! Not a lot of heat in the medium, so I asked them to send me Hot to replace the bad chili I received previously. I have not yet received the Hot chili yet, but look very forward to receiving it. I received my chili and some was bad, they are shipping me chili to replace what was bad.”

“This is my third year in a row pre-ordering and I am really disappointed in the chiles I received. They arrived fresh but just aren't as good as I've had before. The flesh is thinner and they were hard to peel. Many were already starting to turn red despite being small in size. I've roasted all 25 pounds and the net weight yield is much less than in years past. Very few held shape in order to freeze whole. Shipping costs have increased and I spent almost as much on shipping to guarantee they arrive fresh in California as what the chiles themselves cost. For the time and money spent it just didn't seem worth it this year.”

“Before asking me to write a review, you might want to ensure that you have shipped me the product I paid for months ago! I sympathize with the challenges you are facing this chile season, but c'mon, that shouldn't excuse you from paying attention! I am a long-time customer, and have enjoyed my annual receipt of fresh Hatch green chiles for many years. 2023 is proving to be a severe disappointment.”
