“This comment is for the last shipment of the season. I would recommend not waiting that long and getting them before mid October. Close to half my shipment had turned red, but I roasted them anyway and made delicious chicken and chile sandwiches. I got some a few weeks earlier and they were quite good. Seems like the later shipment was meatier than the earlier ones. I have no idea how they decide what goes in a box.”

“Mild chilies arrived in great shape. As another reviewer mentioned, they were not wrapped inside the box, which makes sense since wrapping them would probably cause spoilage. I roasted the 5 lbs right away and froze them, so I can use all winter. Thanks for a great product!”

“We love these chiles (mild). We roast them over our campfire and they come out perfectly! The size is great and they arrive in great condition each time (this was our 2nd order). The mild is just what they say with great flavor but not much bite.”
