I ordered the Hatch Chile Rellenos along with two other items. They were shipped on August 17 and arrived August 19, shipped by way of UPS from Ohio to southern Illinois just outside of St. Louis, MO. There was no dry ice left in the box upon arrival although the contents were still cold but not completely frozen. The bag of chile rellenos arrived with a big cut in the bag exposing the contents to the outside. As a result a replacement order was sent by The Hatch Chile Store. The second shipment went out by way of UPS on August 22 and arrived August 25, four days to get from Ohio to southern Illinois just outside of St. Louis, MO. The replacement shipment had no dry ice left in the box again and the bag of chile rellenos was room temperature and unsafe to use. The Hatch Chile Store issued a refund but it took ~2 weeks to process and post the refund through PayPal onto my credit card. It was not clear to me whether using UPS and/or shipping in the hot summer is the best approach for obtaining this item. I would note that Customer Service was very responsive to my concerns. I may try ordering during cooler seasons.

Thank you for providing feedback about your order! We don't seem to have any record of you reaching out to us when your order was delivered. We cannot resolve an issue if we don't know about it. Upon looking up your order, it shows that UPS marked the order as "delayed" and then never delivered it. The carrier does not notify us when issues like this happen, so we do not always know when there are issues with our customers' deliveries. Left NM six years ago and realy miss NM Chile Rellenos. These answer my prayers.

All 3 packages of my tamales were frozen in a big block, I had to use a knife to pay them apart. They were very icy also, but the quality we usual get sad to say.

These are by far the best!! Easy and quick to prepare on a busy weeknight and absolutely delicious. Love that Hatch chili flavor.
