I put two racks together and they look phenomenal in my room!

Walnut stain and smooth finish is okay, however for $500 I expected a better fit. Several boards were warped, cut short, or holes drilled crooked leading to a challenging assembly and having to drill additional holes. Plugs for screw holes were a fabric material instead of wood, should be wooden plugs at this price point. Assembly stickers were on the front of the boards and a pain to remove, could have easily been on the back. Overall it’s a functional shelf, but I would not purchase again.

The racks look good. As I am not handy, I enlisted the help of a close friend, who is a master cabinetmaker, as well as someone highly trained in marquerty (in other words, he knows his stuff...in fact, he recommended these racks to me as he had built them for himself). Unfortunately, the registration on the bottom holes was off (between base and vertical sections). These were the pieces that go directly into the end grain. The registration error resulted in the screws going in far too close to the edge and splitting the wood. In addition to repairing the splits, he had to carefully chisel out each of the pieces to get the alignment to work with the original holes. This process easily doubled and more likely tripled the total assembly time). It also left noticable gaps in the base of both units. To be fair, one of the advantages of working with someone skilled in this area was he knew what to do and the end product looks good (as long as you don't look at the base...looking for mistakes). But, the units were $500 each and, for that kind of money, I think expecting the holes to align properly, especially at an intersection where an edge is in play is not too much to ask.

Assembly was a 7 on a 1=10 s all. Some pieces did not line up easily and two pieces split. The wood finish was rough in some places and not consistent across all three units I purchased. Years ago when I first bought these racks the quality, look and detail were much, much better.

The racks look great and hold the wine securely. It is important to secure them to the wall. There was no hardware included to do this. Assembly is not a cakewalk, but easy with an electric driver

Other reviewers are correct. Mis-sized pieces required extra drilling and sanding down of corners, and the rack still did not fit together well. Cannot recommend.

Poorly constructed and parts missing. T Reached out 2 x’s to have correct parts sent to no avail. Never again!

These wine racks could be more substantial for the price. They are stapled together in many areas and some of the pieces that were stapled together needed to be repaired prior to assembly
