How did the kit components encourage mathematical thinking for your students? I felt the area of mathematical thinking was the least well developed part of the kit. The mathematical content was too simple and didn’t provide opportunities to extend students mathematical thinking.

“It took my class a little while to get into the breaking records idea, but once they started, they had so much fun. We made excellent use of the field and the playground and the students came up with more and more ideas. Trying to break records became often a cooperative activity with students trying to build the highest or longest stanging human pyramid. I adjusted the resource slightly to suit my needs, but everything we needed was in the wonderful kit.”
