I liked the little chemical experiments we got to do at home and school. The baking was fun, I didn't think we could use vegetables to replace some of the ingredients we use for baking at home.

It was great, we understood exactly that the substitute is the healthier option and it can make eating cake more enjoyable without feeling too guilty.

This activity can be used at home as a way to promote healthy eating. A little competition can be made to see what other recipes the family could come up with using these substitute.
What barriers do your students face to access healthy eating?
Parents tired from work and eating whatever food is provided by them. Sometimes it's too late especially with students having sports or other school curricular activities after school.
