I had one pair say "They didn't cook properly but they were so yum". Children a ruled by their stomachs sometimes. They are fully baked cupcakes, they just didn't bake in the specified time.

I'm not sure of the long term effect as I only taught the class for 7 weeks. But I know it got the class thinking about alternatives to white sugar
