The planning sheets were amazing - for them to be able to see the break down of ingredients and what each ingredient's purpose was, was really helpful for their understanding

I remember every baking experiment from when I was at school because it was always something fun and different. I believe this particular unit will be remembered by my class for years to come because of how it was over a period of time and involved multip
How effective was this kit in promoting healthy food in your classroom?
I don't believe it was the most effective way to promote healthy eating as they were still baking cakes BUT it did get them to experiment with different vegetables that they were very opposed to at the start.
What learning from this kit can students take home to impact their family's wellness and health?
They will take home new skills of baking and what different ingredients are used for and can teach this to their families through baking at home.
