How satisfied are you with the size? The size is wrong– Too small

“Ordered these in size 5, which is my normal shoe fitting and 6 as a contingency because I'd never ordered from Tropic before. The size 5 was far too small and even the six wasn't great. The elastic at the back is so tight it's like it's cutting off your blood circulation. The colour seemed aged/dirty and the way they packed the shoes the fronts were crushed together so that the plastic white edging was all dented in. This happened to both sizes so it wasn't one off. The colour and denting made it feel like these weren't new shoes. I was hoping for soft Plimsoll type shoes with no hard heel cup as videos for the item had shown that you could even wear them with the back pushed down but this came nowhere close to a soft Plimsoll. I think it's just trying to be too many things, a shoe that you can get wet in the sea plus that you can walk around in all day sightseeing and it doesn't hit the mark for either as they are not comfortable. The return process was annoying considering everything is automated and done online because they don't send QR codes for Evri so you can't print the label in store and have to print the return label at home which I can just about do but most people don't have printers these days. Sent feedback separately to customer services regarding how the packed them caused front of shoe denting (with photographs), I never got any comment on that, they just said re. the QR codes 'no we don't do that'.”

“My wife ordered these and a pair of Sunset Baltic in the same size but they were very different sizes when they arrived! She wanted two different styles for a forthcoming holiday but could not get the AT Lite shoes on her feet. Very dissapointing because she liked them and then was more dissapointed to have to pay for return postage when we ordered 3 pairs of shoes and kept two (because of smaller sizing of the AT Lite shoes compared to the same size Sunset Baltic shoes).”

“After long discussion, that i bought based on the video the expandable 40l bag and i got only the nonexpandble, i was told to send it back and get a full refund including the return costs of 10 euro but didn't get it. Very bad experience”

“I would love to review these shoes but frustratingly I’m unable to do so as they never arrived. It’s been almost a month and after chasing up the non arrival have not been given a definitive reason for the delay other then they were never dispatched to the courier. Meanwhile I’m seeing tropical feel specials on social media continuing to market these shoes to others. I’m feel sorry for others who will have To no doubt experience the same frustrations.”
