Email sent to 0800repair what a bunch of cowboys and a muppet from the local council We applied and got accepted for the Warm Home Grant last year 2023 As part of this we was to have Solar Panels Air Source Heat Pump New Radiator's As well as other things We were then told by 0800repair we did not get the funding for the solar panels, so we decided not to go ahead with the air source heat pump as after looking into it we did not feel it worth getting that without the panels. We then had a knock on the door from a man from the council telling us we would be silly not to take up the offer of the heat pump. ( he called twice in the end) We then found out that we did have the funding for the panels and 0800repiar had no idea who had called us or why we had been called as we had had funding for the whole lot right from the start,(this I did not know at the time should have told me to stay away from 0800repair) By this time we had already filled out oil tank up ready for winter 500litres We asked if they would reimburse the old and remove the old oil tank . The answer was no so we refused the air source heat pump but agreed to have panels done, this then triggered the man from the councils second visit to tell us how stupid we would be to not have it all done and that we could give the oil away or pay to have it taken away.(by this time I was bored of seeing this man and him telling us we were stupid) I then rang and said we would have the panels to which 0800repair agreed. This year the work started The solar panels went up Two workers come round to drill holes in the kitchen wall and bathroom wall for vents and putting in loft insulation In relation to the holes Bathroom tiles were damaged, (we were told the boss would be informed we heard nothing) The hole in the bathroom wall was drilled in the wrong place the vent goes through the wall and the soffit (this is not right and is only now being looked at hopefully sorted on the 27,8,24 after much moaning and many phone calls) The hole in the kitchen wall knocked part of the brick out. this then left a big hole in the wall that was eventually part filled but still has part of the brick missing The electrics for the kitchen fan looked disgusting(this is now kind of sorted) We have electric trunking in the garage that runs under the rafters that was only stuck up using the sticky bit on the back that then fell down, the fix for this was someone came out and put screw either side of it to hold it up. The solar panels now have Pidgeon's nesting under them as the netting was put too far underneath (excuse being it would interfere with the electric cable)the neighbour's panels and other panels have the netting at the front. We now currently at the time of writing this have no lighting upstairs 10/8/24 and have to wait till 11/8/24 for someone to come out. (thank you Jordan this is now sorted) The fan is connected up without a box. picture attached This is all without people turning up to work not knowing what they are supposed to do. Emails being sent saying two jobs were being done but when the workman got here them only having one job on their list , Numerous return calls that never happened. Being told by one person that a manager would call me back straight away only to be told that would never happen. We are now hopefully having remedial work done on the 27/8/24, this I hope will be moving the bathroom fan and putting right damage done when the hole was drilled in the wrong place and having the hole in the outside of the kitchen wall replaced. We also need the electric trunking in the garage sorting out as putting two screws either side of it is not a fix . And we need netting at the front of the solar panels as we do not the pigeons that are nesting there now doing damage. I am though very glad we did not have the air source heat pump done as I can only imagine the mess that would have come with that All this has taken it toll on my mum who is recovering from cancer and does need all this worry , bad work Manship and damage done to a house she spent years working to pay for on her own.

A very long list. But in a nutshell new heating system installed on behalf of my housing association . The plumbers were lovely I must say . I have had so many leaks coming through my ceiling from the radiators upstairs. Several times cut off after being on hold for over 30 minutes . Customer service were downright rude and couldn’t care less attitude . Gone most of the past month with no heating if it wasn’t for the energy company intervening they would have carried on ignoring me. But the worst was being shouted at really aggressively on the phone to the point I didn’t want him to attend my property. They really got me down constant fighting for things to be put right, rude customer services when they pick up the phone . Being so cold for weeks. Using little heaters provided by my housing association. They got me to the point where I simply didn’t know what to do. Disgusting behaviour on the phone and bullying tactics. It’s an experience I hope I never go through again. Avoid at all costs.

Company is completely incompetent and that is putting it mildly 4 days to install a heat pump now in its fourth week! No heating no hot water and no one cares. Michael Pallister kindly sort your company out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Member of 0800repair team arrived this morning to prepare ground for air pump. Very polite and efficient and tidy worker. If the experience of this member of your staff is to go by, we look forward to the full installation team arriving next week to carry out work.

These were employed by my housing association for a full new boiler .He turned up 1 hour late , the guy delivering the boiler asked him about it as he was waiting . He was met with ‘ well I had to drive 30miles and didn’t want to be sitting around early waiting ! ‘ full of attitude . Damaged carpets and new rug . Tripped electric without realising so the fridge freezer went off . Set of the fire alarm and didn’t bother trying to stop it or open a window . Didn’t explain anything that was going to happen . Job took 4 hours and then left waiting for the electrician with no time scale given. The only good thing was getting the job done today instead of in 3 days time as there had been a cancellation.

I worked for these villains who were slave drivers to both their office staff and repair engineers. The attitude of ghe management is so lobg as 8 out if ten cystomers are satusfied ghey are happy to let engineers literally do a bad job then run away from the job. I have hsd to be on the phone to a man on hus own in his 80s being tokd he has to pay 325 pounds for his repair contract in gull rather than by the month so he can get a boiler repair in snowy weather. As a team I was told to buck ideas up when she appeared an hour after work started every day. Horrible exploitative company whose management literally run away from problems.

Awful service and performance. One engineer came round to fix a broken tumble dryer - no improvement at all. Another engineer came a few weeks later with a new part - said it would fix the problem - the whole appliance stopped working completely. Doesn’t work at all now. Multiple emails to customer contact who refused to sympathise and took no further action. Thanks for coming round breaking my stuff and getting paid for - absolute shambles and a total rip off joke.

I had a problem with my brand new dishwasher. An engineer came out and fixed it however dropped it and broke all of the legs off it. He re-ordered the legs and said it would take 2 weeks. Another engineer then comes to the house and the first engineer had not ordered enough legs. 2 weeks later another engineer comes out and the legs won’t go in because there is part of the broken leg still inside. No one contacts me. I put in a complaint and no one acknowledged it. I had to call them and eventually they gave me a replacement code and told me to take it back to wren kitchens who we initially bought it off. I’m still going through this process and I’m 2 months without a dishwasher. I emailed over another complaint and still no response, acknowledgment or apology. AVOID this company!!

Absolute cowboys and that’s being kind to them! Save your money and go elsewhere. They are a complete waste of time and have butchered my appliance. 5 visits and they still haven’t got a clue what the issue is! Incompetent!

Application for a new government backed boiler was a total nightmare with this company, they put nothing but obstacles in your way making the process as difficult as possible, because my post code was missing from land registry they told me a needed to get a solicitor to change this info, crazy as a previous company had already approved my application without hoops and hurdle's to jump through.

I had to wait more than two weeks and he showed up with wrong spare parts not fit for the applicant so I have to wait another weeks to get my applicant back to work.. I am very disappointed to have AEG applicant which i bought November 2021 and my warranty is on but who will repair to work it again I will never buy it again.

plumbers excellent i would use them again Electrician phoned said he would come this afternoon...waited and waited...phoned him and phoned him..no answer...eventualy he called said he couldnt do today..i explained the system was using my extension which i needed for the weekend,,,told me he was stuck on a job(why didnt he phone ME)....the job would be passed to someone else next week...not happy,,,,,,,0800 phoned me to apologise electriciian calling mon (its fri today)...seems electrician is a contractor,,,,,,,,in addition,,,,,,,originally the plumbers and the asbestos removal were arranged for the same day(asbestos in boiler).....I was asked to pay the full amount up front(just short of £2000)..I was dubiuos but paid..THEN i got a phone call saying the asbestos removal couldnt happen on the agreed date and they would have to put it back !!,,,,I tpld them the date was arranged and they should keep to it (we had been without heating for 4 weeks)....they suggested i put the bolier in my garage ,,i told them it was a workshop,,,they then suggested my shed,,,i told them like 90% of sheds it is full.....they then suggested i keep it in my house!!!!! SERIOUSLY?????....I was put thru to the manager ,,,i told him if it was wrapped they could leave it behind a secure gate on my drive....which they did ,,NOT WRAPPED. So I waited on monday for the electrician.until 4pm....I phoned and was told he would be there before 5PM...you guessed it HE DIDNT TURN UP....I have wasted 10 hrs over 2 days waiting....unable to use washing machine...tumble dryer...dish washer etc in case he need to turn electric off....also the original electrician agreed with the plumbers to refit my cupboard doors.when I was put thru to electricians they said they MAY refit them.absolutely APPALLING service.....took my money changed the arrangements...my wife is disabled ,,I am 74 not in the best of health.......would I use this company again ...WHAT DO YOU THINK !

Allan was punctual, professional and tidy. He went above and beyond by fixing our machine and dealing with an extra fault he found. He was quiet and nothing was an issue for him. Highly recommend - thanks again

Called me earlier today to rearrange a appointment, then I received a text to say appointment scheduled for 2 weeks as part has not arrived?? Part was there when I called in the morning, then I'm told it was lost?? Honestly you could not make it up, also because LG warranty job, no concern for the customer. AVOID!!!

0800 is an Absolute Joke. 1st engineer visit 28th Jan. main motor seal gone, ordered a new main motor. 2nd engineer visit 7th Feb, a faulty part was supplied, another visit needed. 3rd engineer visit booked for the 17th Feb. What kind of an operation is this??? I’ll pay someone else to fix it.

Terrible! Called before Christmas 2021 to report fault and book repair, 3 weeks later no one called so called back. They has no excuse why I had not been followed up they theyn took another one 8 days to send engineer, and when he arrived he didn’t have the parts even though they had had an extensive report on what was wrong with the machine. That was 2 weeks ago and not heard back since!!! I’ve just called and they said they cannot tell me when this will be repaired as they need the parts which they don’t have!! Absolutely terrible, I’m now going to complain to AO
