Support centre first contact was extremely rude and put the phone down, now on hold for 48 minutes and counting! Message says 'we are still assisting other customers' so I assume they have a very high volume of complaints or they simply keep the call on hold hoping you will ring off. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Avoid at ALL costs!! NO EMAIL ADDRESS TO CONTACT THEM!! They have taken money out of my account as it isn't a direct debit set up! Despite phone calls and reassurances that money would NOT be taken from my account, they did!! I have asked for a Subject Access Request today and Madelin said he "would check we are still doing this" before hanging up!! Shocking and unnaceptable customer service who make it VERY, VERY difficult to stop payments leaving your account!!

Terrible company. We had a basic site with them for several years and were told by a sales person that called in November that the site package was being discontinued. He said that we could upgrade, and the site would be slightly better and easier to use. I explained I had other sites elsewhere, and I would move it to them, as he wanted more money to upgrade. He said the new site would be better and talked me into not moving. He said that the tech team would arrange to migrate the site across once we paid for the upgrade. We paid for the upgrade and chased the company several times to get the site migrated. They didn’t, and our site came off-line for a period. I then chased them again, and eventually they got it migrated and live, but this time it has a 123Reg advertising banner across our site. Naturally, I complained and explained that I had said to the salesperson at the time I would move the site. He talked me out of moving, saying it would be easy and better. Clearly this is cheap and nasty to have the site advertising banner on your site. This is their response: Unfortunately, I’m afraid that on the package that you are using, we are not able to remove the 123 REG branding from the bottom of the page as this is a package limitation.

The worst domain , horrible customer service , because of 1 payment that return they removed my website without any notice and it’s already 3 months and they never resolved always telling me they are sending my query to the relevant team , they all work from home and it’s money In the drain , avoid this company your business will loose money . The worst i ever see

Unhelpful in retrieving account details and essentially caused the lost of domain. Had oustanding service with zero issues elsewhere. They seem to feel you need them because of domain uniqueness.

They do not even deserve a star! Agreed with Robin, ''Utterly horrific! The worst customer support and care ever experienced.'' 2 days on the roll the customer service guy isn't being helpful and was very rude and impatient. He even hung up without finishing helping me!

Utterly horrific! The worst customer support and care ever experienced. They never responded within a timely manner to desperate requests for help, ignored support tickets, provided misinformation when they did respond, refused to give me back my website database despite it legally belonging to me, lied about access to my account so my new host couldn't help me either and generally did everything within their power to cause problems and prevent me moving to a new provider. Shocking beyond words!!! Avoid at all costs. There are far cheaper and far better hosting providers out there!!!! My issue still isn't resolved after a month (it should take 10 seconds to do!) Incompetence and a complete disregard for their duty of care is one thing, but it is the continual lying that I find so abhorrent!!!

123 REG ARE THIEVES Over the weekend I was searching a domain name "flightscanner.net" on you sight and it was available for registration at its normal price £9.99. However, I did not register it instantly because I wanted to register some more domains and was thinking to pay you for all domain names all together instead of going through the same process of registration for each and every domain individually. However, when I cam back to your site in about 10 minutes to register my domains I was shocked to see that the domain "flightscanner.net" became unavailable and "flightscanners.net" with the addition of letter "s" at the end was coming to about £500. This is ridiculous and a severe breach of your contractual duty of customer care according to which you cannot pick your customer's domains and register them to make money. I already have hotmail, gmail, twitter and instagram accounts of both "flightscanner" and "flightscanners" which I will use as an evidence of your misconduct to your customers who type their domain names on your site with complete trust and good faith but in return you cheat your customers and get those domains reserved which you like to keep to make money from them. If you do not release these domains with immediate affect I will take legal action against your company and bring this matter to watchdog with all evidence. Once it will be in the media I am sure many people will come out who had the same problem with you. Regards Sania Khan

Been with these people for around 10 years and to start with they were value for money, that no longer seems to be the case. Additionally their technical assistance, though difficult to get hold of, was always on the ball. That is no longer the case, their technical department seems to be full of people with less technical knowledge than me and come across as slightly condescending to boot. All in all 10 to 5 years ago I was recommending them everywhere, today I could not say the same.

Webfusion website maker, hosting package should have been released as a free beta ..../ not really fair to allow ccustomers to pay full-wack for something so temperamental
